Rose is tired and needs food that does not come from a can. She orders a Coke and some meatloaf, then settles down at a table. She's brought along several pamphlets advertising various High School programs and starts to browse through them.

Alec was tired, and got his food by sitting outside and literally vegging out for two days. He's sprouted fresh, bright green leaves as he is less a creature of the swamp and more the embodiment of the Scottish woods. He enters from those woods, and sees a familiar face.

"Hello, Rose."

"Hi, Alec," she says, offering a small smile.

"How have you been?" He reins in some of his leafiness and bulk, aware that he can be intimidating.

"About the same," she sighs. "I'm trying to make some changes. How are you?"

[alec_swamp]

"Rested. I had a bit of a battle two days ago, and decided to leave my world for a while and bask in the sun." He hasn't done that in far too long.
