Cassian's been taking the medicine that Barry got for him, the day one and trying to work. Curled up on the couch with a datapad along with tea and soup has worked fairly well. Though he's been cold, he's stopped wearing his jacket, it catches the glitter too quickly. Instead he's under a blanket that's striped with the colors of a sunset.

His datapad is on his chest as he's been doing research into the history of the Empire, the number of failed assassinations for Palapatine makes for hard reading. At some point later in the day, he falls asleep, he would never think of doing this if he were healthy but this cold is draining.

Ibani notices Cassian is asleep downstairs in the Bar. That's...not like him.

She reaches out briefly with the Force to check on him and make sure he's not in dire straights, then pulls back.

She settles nearby, to keep an eye on him, to guard him, while he rests.

Sooner or later though, she's likely to wake him by sneezing more of that damned glitter.

His sleep is surprisingly peaceful with a few small sounds as he dreams.

When she sneezes, he wakes up and reaches for his weapon that isn't there as his datapad falls and he sees her, "Ibani?"

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you," Ibani apologizes. "How are you feeling?"

"I fell asleep. I didn't mean to do that," He coughs and sits up, picking up his datapad and setting it down, "Awful, you?"

"I figured as much," Ibani replies. Ibani sneezes pink glitter into her elbow."

"Also awful. I've been sneezing glitter, of all things." Seriously, what the flark, Milliways?

"I know, me too. Its some awful Milliways' disease," His next sneeze has purple glitter while he orders some tea.

"I'm sorry to hear that you've got this too," Ibani grumbles. "Whatever this is, it's resistant to my usual methods for getting rid of illnesses."

Ibani orders some tea too. It can't hurt, right?

"What are your usual methods? I can't remember the last time I was sick,"

Injured yes, but that's different.

"I generally use the Force to destroy the pathogen," Ibani replies. "That makes my immune system settle down, which gets rid of the symptoms. It's why I haven't been sick for years."

"With as much travel as you do I would have thought you'd run into all kinds of illnesses and pick a few up."

"Yes, but if I do, they don't lay me out like this. You can do that?"

He's really good at working through anything so doesn't pay too much attention to feeling a little more tired.

"I can, usually. I couldn't afford to lose any combat efficacy during my training on Korriban, so I learned how to get rid of them."

"I understand. I can't take too much downtime, there's too much to do,"

And he doesn't do well with it, too much time to think.

Ibani nods. "Always too much to do and not enough time," she agrees.

Ibani also doesn't do too well with downtime, for much the same reasons.

"Have you had a chance to practice the kata I showed you? Before this hit you, I mean."

"Yes, there's more time here but I don't want to rely on it. Only a little bit but I went through it a few times in my quarters,"

Which were tight but he was able to make it work.

"You can't always count on a door to Milliways being available," she agrees.

"I'm glad. I hope they're useful for you." She'd like to be able to help Cassian more, but there's only so much she can do.

"No, its dangerous to rely on anything too much,"

The rat comes by with tea and Cassian inhales the scent then sets it down to sneeze orange glitter.

Ibani makes a noise of agreement as she sips her own tea.

"I can't decide if the color is random or if there's some pattern to the glitter colors I can't pick out," she mutters as she sneezes gold glitter into her right elbow.

"I think its random but I've seen colors I've never had,"

He hasn't sneezed up that extra sparkly glitter that Emcee had.

"Really? That's bizzare."

Ibani's next sneeze produces glitter that is puce in color.

"Okay, that color is definitely not one I've seen before."

"I'll be very happy when this has run its course!"

Cassian gives the glitter a frown as he sneezes silver glitter, "Me too. That's not right."

Ibani chuckles, then breaks into a coughing fit and sneezes mustard colored glitter.

"I mean, the fact that it's glitter at all is just WRONG, but still..."

"The colors make it worse."

"They do, somehow." She agrees.

She gulps half of her cup of tea in the vain hope that this will somehow help. "I was avoiding going back to Tatooine, and this is what I get in return."

"I was getting ready to out on a mission, its all planned out,"

The tea is soothing but that's all.

"May I ask what kind of mission?" She's curious, what can she say?
