They've made good progress. Futaba's still not the easiest of people to talk to, and she seems to take exception to Yusuke the most often for some reason, but he's hardly one to complain about someone having an odd choice of metaphors, and she seems comfortable enough with the team to go through with the beach outing tomorrow.
As he comes into Milliways, not realising it's been over a month inside the bar to his barely a week in Tokyo, he's watching something on his phone, smiling. Anyone who manages to see over his shoulder as he settles into one of the chairs facing the observation window might catch a short video; a short girl, red hair coming out the back of a comically large mask, approaches a booth in a restaurant with a muffled, "Yo, here's your coffee." The customer seated in the booth yelps and tries to get as far away from the girl as possible.
(Hopefully Futaba will never find out that Akira recorded that, let alone shared it with Yusuke. Akira assures him it couldn't have happened to a more deserving customer.)
With a final chuckle, Yusuke puts his phone away before pulling out his ever-present sketchbook. He has yet to mine all the possibilities of the observation window's view, after all.
