"You have GOT to be kidding me."

Standing in the open doorway, Cisco stares at the bar shaking his head.

With a sigh he tosses his toolbelt onto a bench beside the doorway and steps through into Milliways, letting the door close behind him.

His annoyance at what he had to go through to get here evaporates quickly, and when he takes a seat at the counter he’s all smiles.

"Hi, Bar. Remember me?"

That is absolutely not a squeal of delight when Bar produces a napkin with a cheerful greeting and a mug of Butterbeer to go along with it, anyone who hears one is clearly just imagining things.

Taking a drink, he turns on his stool to observe the bar at large, wondering just what exactly he can get into this time.

"Yeah, it's, you know, pretty shitty," he says. "I mean, most people have no choice, they get sick and they gotta get work done, or they get hooked on the painkillers and go in for more and more to keep the hits coming, so it's pretty fucked up. Not much to be done about it, I guess, but that's what it is."

"Seriously sick," he says, shaking his head. "That is way messed up."

Cisco sees even more now why this guy would want to be drinking.

"Glad you got Milliways to come to and get away from that scary."

Cisco isn't going to ask, because it'd probably be rude, but he sincerely hopes this guy doesn't have an organ he's making payments on.

"Thanks. The bar's been pretty awesome, not gonna lie," he says. "Seems to be that way for most everyone here, at least that I've talked to. But I guess there's no reason to complain about a friendly sentient establishment with unlimited alcohol."

"I think it's pretty fricken cool so far," Cisco says with glee. "I'm so stoked my friend decided to bring me here."

And that the door works for Cisco now, even if it took some trial and error.

"Huh, I didn't know you could bring people from outside here," he says, curious. He doesn't have anybody he necessarily wants to bring, but hey, it's good to know. "Who's the friend who brought you here?"

"He literally just opened the door and let me follow him in," Cisco says with a shrug. "But I'm new to the place so maybe there was more to it than that."

Finishing his butterbeer, Cisco throws a smile. "Barry Allen? He's been coming here for awhile, I guess."

"Ah, cool," he says. "I don't think I've met him yet. I'm fairly new myself so I'm still getting the lay of the land a bit. Don't think I've run across him so far."

"He's a cool guy," he replies with a smile.

"From what I've heard, there's a lot to see and get used to with this place."

"So far as I can tell, that's absolutely the case," he says. "I mean, everything I've found out about this place so far has been pretty great, but it has wildly more shit in it that I would have thought when I first got here."
