Kobold Plot
In the dark of the night, some creatures were stirring...
They Decide--after much deliberation in a hissing, yipping language--that This Place is Good. The Forest Suits Them Well. There are traps--circular saws, spiked logs, and rolling boulders--already laid, and the reptilian creatures set up more. There are caches of weapons. Game is plentiful, but though the fiery rabbits are spicy, it was Decided that they aren't the worst food the creatures have eaten.
And there's ever so much for them to Take.
"We shall have a great Hoard here!" the Wise One Decides, banging his staff on the forest floor.
"Yes! Yes!" the others chorus.
"And the Hoard shall be filled with Great and Shiny Things!" the Wise One hisses.
"Yes! Yes, yes! For the Hoard! The Hoard!"
Howls erupt among the creatures; they shake their spears and wave their crossbows. The night is filled with jubilation. And in the morning, the creatures Take and Take and Take...
