There's a hammer lying on the barroom floor.
Specifically, a really big, really heavy, really magic hammer, made of some kind of probably-stone with a metallic sheen, decorated with knotwork and runes, with a relatively short handle wrapped in what looks like some kind of steel-trimmed leather.
It's mostly out of the way of traffic. But... uh... not all the way out. Somebody might still stub a toe or something. Good luck shifting it anywhere, though!
Its owner is off having a swim in the lake. It's bracing! :D (That means coated with ice.)
[OOC: Thor isn't taggable just now, because the mun will be in and out over the next day or so, but feel free to interact with Mjölnir as a prop! Or try to steal it, if you're koboldsor Loki or otherwise want to try and fail. Mjölnir cannot be lifted or budged except by its wielder, unless we've already discussed your character being able to lift it. If you want to try to enchant it or set it on fire or whatever, have fun; just talk to me if you want it to actually do anything to the hammer, and we'll see what makes sense.]

Unluckily for the kobolds, they've spent an inordinate amount of time scrabbling against the hammer, putting their shoulders into it, fetching all their brothers and sisters and trying to pull on it all at once, hissing and yipping and growling at it--all ineffectively. Eventually they give up, shaking their fists at Mjölnir and cursing its very existence. They scatter before their invisibility runs out, bowling over a waitrat in their haste to flee into the forest.
Anyone around the hammer will notice the lingering stenches of wet dog and rotten bayou.

(Only after there's been a nice long while for other people to potentially notice this clue, though, if anyone's inclined to do so.)
Huh. Weird! Some dog rolling around nearby or something, presumably.
Luckily, taking a short flight outside and using even a teeny little bit of lightning will clear that smell right up!

....well....
.....................maybe just a little.
but no one can see Loki making a fool of himself trying once again to nab the hammer, because he's invisible, okay?

If Sinric feels like asking Bar for help, though, he can get a translation: HE WHO WIELDS THIS HAMMER COMMANDS THE LIGHTNING AND THE STORM.

Once translated, he takes pen and paper and goes outside to test a theory. Sometime later he comes back in dripping wet. That worked! A little frightening better than expected.

Tass tries his best to move the hammer..... and it doesn't work, cause well it's Mjolnir.
After some time of doing this Tass stops and just leans against the hammer. He figured it'd be heavy just from looking at it, but this was ridiculous, he should at least be able to tip it over.

But given that she's told Thor a few times that he's welcome to leave Mjölnir in her room instead of just dropping it anywhere --
Maybe it is time to remind him.
Which is why X picks Mjölnir up, hefting it up onto her shoulder, and heads out to the lake to explain one more time about proper hammer storage locations. (Throwing it through the wall is fine, Thor! Just keep it out of common traffic areas!)

Still.
Baze figures he could leave Mjölnir with Bar, but then Thor might not know where it is. Decisions, decisions.
Baze ends up just scooting the hammer out of the way. Not to the point where Thor will miss it if he comes looking, just enough to keep someone from stubbing their toes. Near a chair. Yes. That will do.
Then he takes up a table near Mjölnir with a pneumatic graver and the smaller, octagonal barrel--the one meant to shoot the plasma bolt--of his lightbow. If Thor comes looking for his hammer, Baze can at least point him in the right direction.

But where's Thor at? You mean the dude just left it here? Or did he lose it? Well, this is no place for a Very Important Hammer. Maybe if Cassidy gives it back to Thor, he'll give him a reward or something! Yes!
Let's just take it over to the Bar, shall we--
"Oof!"
As Cassidy tries to scoop up the hammer by its handle, he's abruptly jerked back by its utter immobility and nearly falls on his ass.
He rights himself and glances around.
Cool, it's cool.
A tug. Another tug. A pull with both hands.
The hammer doesn't budge an atom.
"Pfff, alright, then," he mutters. If it doesn't wanna move, then it doesn't wanna move.
Shoving his hands into his pockets, Cassidy glances around again to see if anyone noticed, and then shuffles away.
