Today has been the epotime of suck. Granted yesterday wasn’t much better, but today Wilford had to deal with the result of yesterday. He got through it, somehow, despite the constant feeling of suffocation and endless fatigue.
When he walks into the bar with Buster at his heels, he heads straight for the fire to lie down. Once he finds the energy, he flags down a rat and orders dinner. Once that arrives, he has to find the energy to eat it. And he has to find the energy sooner, rather than later, judging by the way Buster is looking at the steak on his plate.
