[OOM: Council Meeting]
Khadgar appears in flash of pale blue light today and grins. "Hah, it worked!" He pockets the hearthstone and saunters to a table in a good mood, waving over a wait rat. The mage tower is well on its way to being finished with so many members of the Kirin Tor and their constructs working on it. He's received word from both factions' garrisons that they're making headway in their relative territories and aiding their allies. Cordana is busy setting up her spy network to seek the Shadow Council. And in addition to Vargoth, Modera has also joined him on Draenor, a welcome addition to their ranks.
The only downside is that mages aren't known for food beyond their sweets.
"Greetings!" The rat squeaks a reply. "Doing well, thank you. May I trouble you for a warp burger and chips?"

"More like good progress but I expect good news in the future. What of you?"

He considers a moment.
"I don't believe I mentioned all of that before. Feel free to request clarification."

Which Khadgar seems to be in. He's curious about this world, was this an invasion or was it helping?
no subject
"We're facing the full might of the Iron Horde. We destroyed the Portal but we've done little more than scratch their resources, if that. Draenor is their homeworld and they've had years to prepare for this invasion." They don't know how long ago Garrosh arrived and changed the timeline.
As for Cordana being a spy, well, perhaps. He wouldn't put it past Maiev to want to keep an eye on him as well.

He frowns.
"It's only that destroying the Portal alone isn't enough to stop them; they could easily rebuild it. Whatever Garrosh said to the orcs in this reality, they seem eager to carry out his plans for conquest."

He pauses.
"And instead of being corrupted by demons, Garrosh gave them technology they shouldn't have. As I said, the Bronze Flight is supposed to prevent this sort of thing but they're not as powerful as they once were."

He flashes a smile to Khadgar. "Welcome back. Light blue this time. A different type of spell?"
no subject
Khadgar holds up the hearthstone, a smooth fist-sized rock with a blue spiral etched in it. When charged the melted sapphires glow but having just been used they merely sparkle.
"Hearthstones can teleport their users to wherever they are bound to. I made this one before I left last time."
no subject
"How have you faired since I saw you last?"
no subject
He pockets the hearthstone.
"Things have progressed well! We're establishing our foothold on Draenor and assisting our allies against the Iron Horde."
no subject
"I'm glad your mission for peace is going well." He smiles to the plate of food the rat brings him. "And that you've found time to stop and enjoy."
no subject
"We're still establishing food supplies and fare is somewhat limited. Milliways has far greater variety. What are you working on?"
no subject
He smiles and shuffles his papers. "A dear friend of mine has asked to visit the city I am in back in my own world. As a singer and fellow traveller. He hopes to meet the Emperor who rules there. A man who will, in his own time, be considered a great man."
"I've been preparing some songs for us to sing together at the inn I have lodges at. He speaks the language of the land but some thousand years after my time so I have been writing them out for him to learn."
no subject
He considers the language comment.
"Is there no magic in your world that aids with communication?"
no subject
"No, alas. Or trade would be much easier. But then, I would never find use as an interpreter. Or find advantage in the languages I speak. And the Empire I am in now is a heavily Christian one, for all Charles' fascination with the writings of the old Empire. If it was known I have the gift, I would be drowned as a witch, or worse. No, in this land I must hide that part of me."
no subject
"Magic is condemned in the land you're traveling through? I could understand certain types but all of it?"
