Galen's come down with some kind of flu so Bodhi took him upstairs and looked after him. After a steam bath to clear Galen's head and a few holo-vids, Bodhi tucked Galen into bed.
Bodhi didn't mean to come down to the bar this evening. With Galen tucked up in bed and the cats keeping an eye on him, Bodhi just meant to water his garden and got to bed himself.
But somehow he found his way down to the bar, sipping tea and looking pensive.
He also hasn't realised he's wearing his Porg print pyjamas.
{ooc: no warning for the OOM except for fluff and thoughtless words. Not related to IMDB flu, just the tail-end of a very slowtimed thread.}

Kyber's sister Nahts comes over to say hello and investigate the possibility of treats.

He spots Teja and gives him a nod. "Hi."

Something only slightly stronger than tea.

"Famously, it is often such small things to open a wide gaze back, and bring all the tales of another life."

Bar provides him a glass of water without being asked, and a pointed reminder to drink it on a napkin. Baze sets his project down and takes a drink.

He looks at the metal, head cocked. "That's fine work. Are you making a lightbow?"
no subject
"This is the second iteration. I had to start over once already."
no subject
He sips his tea, gesturing to offer to order Baze some. "What happened to the first one, if you don't mind me asking?"
no subject
"Nothing happened to the first one. I'm reluctant to go into particulars, but I broke a prohibition, and so had to scrap the first one and start over."
Baze hears the sorrow tinging Bodhi's voice, but doesn't know how to address it yet. The larger Jedhan has never been very good at listening to other people's problems--save Chirrut.

He sits in silence for a long moment, content to watch Baze work. "Does it help, with the homesickness?"
no subject
"Chirrut's lightbow won't be the only one anymore. That helps."
Baze tries not to think about where the other lightbows from the temple--the ones that weren't properly hidden away, anyway--ended up: likely decorating the offices of mid-level Imperials on Coruscant.

"Will it be different to Chirrut's? Other than bigger. I guess it needs to fit your hands."
no subject
"Mine will be made of steel, aluminum, and ironwood--all of which I've forged or, in the case of the wood, plan to chop down myself."
no subject
"Sorry, do you want me to leave you to work?"
