You would think that plants in the form of men would never catch the flu. You would be wrong.

And you would also think that Mark Hamill, celebrity, star, and voice actor, would never come to Milliways.

You would be wrong on both counts. Sort of.

Which leaves Mark sitting at the bar, sipping a beer and wondering why it tastes just a bit off.

(OOC: What a great idea and I don't remember if they've met or not. I don't think so.)

Cassian's wondering how long he should risk staying in Milliways as people seem to be sick.

As he sips his caf, he notices the green alien and nods to him, "Something wrong?"

Mark stares for a moment. And thinks that this guy is wearing a really good costume. Not he saw Rogue One more than the once.

"My beer's a bit flat. I never expected that in here." The voice is not nearly as reedy as it should be. At least to other ears. "And I think I have the start of a cold." Though lord knows how he can tell.

"I'm surprised. Everything is usually the best in here. Do you want another?"

Cassian's not certain what to make of the stare and glances down, everything he's wearing is what he's normally in with his blaster.

"No, I think I should watch it. I have to be on set tomorrow. And I probably should be taking a little care of myself." Also, he's not big on beer. His party days are long since over.

"On set, for what? She makes a good tea, those can help when you're ill," He doesn't normally drink it unless it's for a cover.

[alec_swamp]

"I will remember that. Maybe later." Hm. The man doesn't recognize him. That's fine with him.

"I'm doing a cameo on Legends of Tomorrow. They want me in a scene with Brandon Routh for some reason. I don't mind. It's fun."

"Oh, you're an actor. Legends of Tomorrow, I think there's a holovid with that name out there. I don't remember what its about, but it was always on at a cantina I went to,"

He thinks it might have been to boost the Empire, to pull in pilots.

Either this guy is really in character...or IS the character. He's heard that happens, somewhere. (OK, there is the third possibility that Diego Luna has gone nuts. There have been times he's felt like he actually is the Joker over the years. That seems unlikely, though.)

"Just a TV show where and when I come from. We don't have holovids yet. It's all just special effects if you see it in a movie."

"Where do you come from? I don't think I've met your species before. I'm Cassian,"

Cassian knows he would remember meeting a walking plant and offers his hand.

"You haven't met a human before?" He extends his hand very warily.

As is ever the case, the mysterious flu is working its mysterious magic.

"I have," This is bizarre, maybe he should play along, "But it's hard to tell here, not everyone's what they seem."

[alec_swamp]

"Definitely human. But I hear what you're saying." Even looking his hand extended, he doesn't see the moss and vines and leaves. "I'm Mark."

Cassian shakes his hand conscious that its not fully human, but lying is what he does.

So he keeps his face friendly and treats this like a normal conversation, "It's good to meet you. Have you been to Milliways before?"

Sinric is have real problems with double vision today. His Sight perceives both Swamp Thing and an ordinary man. "You might be better with water, sir." He suggests gently.

"I might be. Better for my voice, at least. I think I have the start of a cold." Though what a cold would be to that body is a good question. "The beer's flat anyway."

"Do you live by your voice?" He asks, ordering himself some tea.

[alec_swamp]

"I'm an actor. I'm on the set tomorrow morning, and really don't want to have cope with a rough voice." In fact, the usual voice for this body is a lot rougher, but the virus does what it does.

"I understand. I am a singer and teller of stories. And there is no coin to be found when one loses one's voice."

[alec_swamp]

"I never really did well with singing." He still cringes every time someone shows him a clip from The Simpsons. "I'm at the point in my career when they don't give me a hard time if I have call in sick, though. But I've been acting for long enough that I still worry about my voice." Fun fact: Mark Hamill's first steady job was on a Hanna Barbera cartoon. So he's been protecting his voice since before he was a farmboy on Tatooine.

"Then you are fortunate you've found a place of rest where you can ride out this illness. Time doesn't pass outside the door so if you do need to rest, no-one will notice."

"That isn't a bad idea. A couple of days resting here, no interruptions, no Twitter, no autographs, no politics." Like many from his time and place, he needs a break from politics, even if he's been having some fun with certain people using certain voices.

"Twitter?" He tilts his head in question.

[alec_swamp]

"A way of communicating in the 21st century. I'd show you, but there's no cellphone reception here." And he also seems to have forgotten his phone at home. Strange. "Imagine a million voices speaking in confusion at once." He shouldn't be stealing Alec's lines, but Alec never liked them anyway.

"Like the forums of Rome?" He asks, curiously.

"Louder. And constant. And open to everyone." And noisy, always noisy.
