Riz MC comes into the bar, still dressed in the pink shirt from Charli's film clip. And carrying the giant pink teddy bear.
His throat hurts. Maybe he picked something up on set. Now, where to get some tea?

Cassian stares, that's a lot of pink and some kind of toy, "Are you dressed up for something?"

{ooc: Yes! Yes, please!}

What kind of music goes with pink?

"I do mostly political hip-hop and rap. But Charli, the friend I'm helping out is more of an electropop girl. This clip of hers is all her male friends dressed up and doing cute things that might normally be perceived as girly. Even when she's being cute, she's subversive." Something he clearly approves of.

He nods, that makes sense and seems like an interesting way to challenge things. When the rat comes around, he orders an Alderaan beer.

"Satirical social-commentary." He answers, as if reading a pompous review. He shrugs. "Mostly to do with the treatment of minorities and immigrants in England. And world wide."

That's the sort of music that the Empire would only allow if its how they want it to be.

He grins at that. "The bigger radio stations refused to play Post 9/11 Blues for a while. The lyrics were seen as too politically sensitive. But that only made it more popular. For a song I never intended to release, it did pretty well!"

If his music could be played and he wasn't arrested, that's hopeful.

His eyes are hooded, calm as he sips his whiskey.
But then, he sees the new arrival and chuckles.
"You lost a bet or what?"
no subject
He shrugs and puts the bear down, patting it on the head. "Favour for a friend. Her new film-clip. Can't wait see how it comes out."

The man's accent is definitely something American, with a tinge of arrogance that goes with well-kept pools.
no subject
It's usually an arrogance Rid would loath. Should loath. And yet- "Besides, I think I wear it well."

"Knowing Charli, a bit of both. A lot of the shots were set up to mimic the style of cute 40s pin-ups. All sweet and innocent."

"The bear is cute."

He presents her with the bear. "He needs a home and I don't think he'll fit in my place. Pretty sure Charli doesn't need him back."
no subject
Well, why not, she has a giant fox plush already. The bear might make a good pillow for some parts. "Charli? Friend of yours?"

Seriously, she knows people who are boys, girls, both, and neither on a daily basis.
