Honey I Shrunk the Pups
All Kanan and Hera wanted to do today was take the payout from their last mission, use it to buy supplies, and then check to see if Milliways might have anything they couldn't get from the shops on Danadine.
(There were quite a few things the shops in Danadine didn't have, or didn't want to provide to outsiders. Hera seems pretty willing to beg money on the latter being more true than the former.)
Stopping to get a caf after wrangling the rest of the supplies was meant to be a treat.
But now the cups are taller than Hera and Kanan put together, and the rest of the bar is much bigger than it was a moment ago.
"Uh. Hera? I think something's gone wrong." If Kanan sounds jarred, it's because even with the Force he didn't feel this coming.
"Yes, love," Hera says patiently, slamming down hard on her own panic because that's not going to solve anything. "I think that's clear by now."
The real question is what are they going to do next?
[ooc: And it is bedtime, or at least brain-too-tired-to-pretend-to-be-other-people time. Slows okay? And the post is still open for new tags, they will just be picked up in slowtime, too. Thanks!]

He doesn't feel small, is the thing. He just feels like himself. Except that there is now definitely way too much caf to drink. And accidentally knocking the cups over would give each of them pretty intense burns.

It's much harder than it was a moment ago, from her now much smaller and more easily overwhelmed vantage point. But it doesn't look like they're alone.
no subject
"It is more or less comforting that we don't seem to be the only tiny ones around?"
Kanan's voting for less, oddly enough. For now.

Hera takes a step back from the edge. "If there's more of us that makes more likely someone who isn't affected will notice."
And that they'll find a way to fix this.
no subject
Kanan, in an attempt to keep his -- and Hera's -- spirits up, just shakes his head.
"If we have to be tiny, at least we're near the food. Instead of having to embark on an epic quest to cross all that floor, I mean."
You know, if they'd been sitting at a table or something.

Beat. "But I guess that could still happen."
no subject
Wait, what is he arguing for here?

He is not careful with the breeze that his wings stir up.
Oops.

Just give him a second to clip his lightsaber parts together . . .
"Whoa!"
no subject
Loudly.
Then he peers at them first out of one eye, then the other.
"I am, I think, not going to eat you."
no subject
"I know you."
no subject
Then --
"Wait, what?"

"Hera! Kanan! Hoi! May the Force of others be with you. You're tiny, too? Do you know what happened?"
no subject
"No idea, actually. Did you see anything?"
no subject
Hera glances around, even though she knows she'll have no chance of finding where it might have come from. "But that's it."
no subject
"I thought it cane from behind the bar. But I was busy being knocked off my feet at the time. You're both okay other than being little, right?"
no subject
Kanan shakes his head, thinking that over. It could be good, if it did? But --
no subject
It's in itself a strange feeling, that everything feels normal when it's so clearly not. She turns, looking back behind the bar, though it's hard to focus on any one thing when everything is suddenly so enormous.

Cassian spots Hera and Kanan from the stool he's on and yells out, he feels too vulnerable here, "Can you help me up?"
no subject
Kanan looks over at Hera, then scans the bartop, looking to see if anyone has left some thread behind.
"Give us a second to see what we can grab!"

If only they had some tacks . . .

Hera thinks for a moment, and then says. "It's probably the best option. I'll hold it down and you can maneuver and... help me."
She gives Kanan one meaningful look, before a normal-sized (in other words, gigantic) straw appears next to her. It's also heavy, but Hera can still shove it toward the edge of the bar, in the direction of Cassian's stool.
