Honey I Shrunk the Pups
Thrawn, Grand Admiral of the Empire and commander of the Star Destroyer Chimaera, steps from his shuttle onto the landing pad in Coruscant --
And ends up in Milliways instead.
He is greeted by a flash of blue light, and then he is abruptly only several inches tall.
This will certainly impede his return to Lothal and the factories there. It is . . . vexing. And almost completely unexpected.
His first matter of business is, of course, to find some protective cover, and from there to evaluate his current situation. It may take him some time.

She arrives safely after the flash of blue light, and without much thought to it and only a quick look around, she heads toward one of the tables.

It is the first step to solving this mystery and, one hopes, regaining his usual proportions.

Well, her first reaction is to jolt back. She's never really been afraid of insects, but this is like suddenly coming upon a creepy little Galdewik spider.
But then, without a sound, she crouches down, to check if she really is seeing what she thinks she's seeing.

"Ah, General Syndulla. I see you have managed to escape this latest Milliwaysian disaster. How . . . unexpected."
He has a blaster at his side, but at these dimensions it would be like a pinprick to the General. This is one reason he doesn't draw said weapon.

"This is weird."
There is so much about this she... doesn't really know what to do with.

Thrawn keeps his hands clasped behind his back, shoulders straight.
It does not make him look taller, but it does keep him from looking intimidated. Or, rather, that is the intention.

And then, she rolls her eyes, lifting herself up again and reaching to pull out a different chair.

She doesn't watch Thrawn, nor make any offer to help him.

"Hoi. Did you see what happened?" he calls, grounding his staff.
no subject
"Unfortunately, no. Did you?"

"There was a blue flash of light and a shockwave that knocked me off my feet, and now I'm tiny."

Thrawn falls silent, looking out over the bar as he ponders this new information.
no subject
"Well. I'm going to find cover."
Baze starts walking in the direction of the bar stools. He's not going to let the Imperial see him run again.
no subject
"You are aware that you are far more likely to be stepped on that way?"
no subject
"Yes, I know, but I'm hoping I'll be able to scale something to get on top of the bar. If I can camp out there, then Bar will be able to provide whatever I need."
no subject
His voice is very dry.
"Of course."

Cassian's trying to stay off the floor, it seems safer to be on high ground, easier to communicate with those who are the proper size and learn more. When he sees Thrawn, he's on top of a stool and frowns.
That shade of white and cut of uniform belong to the Empire and he stops to observe as he remembers this man, Thrawn from before. He's certainly changed his position in the world.

Interesting.
He will only look away when Cassian does.

That eyebrow of his remains arched.

He was trying to be diplomatic and start with the shared problem before moving onto the fact that Thrawn's now with the Empire.
As he gets closer, he can see the rankings and his hand tenses into a fist before he forces it to open. This is Milliways and they're both small, not the time or the place, he'll gather what intel he can.
no subject
"Have you stayed precisely where you were, then? Interesting."
Or precisely the opposite. Only time will tell.
no subject
That's an odd assumption, but he's not going to give too much away. He's a pilot and with his work in the Rebellion, he's always on the move.
no subject
"Quite. And yet the both of us might remain precisely here unless a way is found to return each of us to our former stature."
