honey I shrunk the pups plot
The baseball was the key.
How Cisco forgot that detail he'll never know, but it's the final puzzle piece to fixing the shrinking machine.
It's taken many, many long hours, countless doses of caffeine, a nostalgia trip back to the Eighties, three dozen chickens, four watermelons and a braveguinea pig rat named Ben, but with all that and the crucial help of other tech savvy people in Milliways who lended a hand, the Szalinzki Shrinking Machine is good to go and resizing of patrons can now begin.
Barry is the first, and Cisco can't even look as he zaps his tiny friend with the shrink ray, funnelled through a beat-up baseball. When full-size Barry is achieved Cisco is quick to hug his friend, laughing in hysterical exhausted relief.
"Thank you for not exploding!"
They run a few quick tests just to make sure Barry is one hundred percent, and then Cisco announces loudly, "Attention little people of Milliways! Let the embiggening begin!"
He'll also put up notices around that the shrink ray has been fixed, and have Bar tell any tiny patrons who should come across her countertop that the solution has been found.
