Millitimed to a week or so back - Galen went looking for Bodhi and found him in the greenhouse. They talked, they kissed... then find a spot under the flowering tree to make out.

{Warnings for highly explicit sex, mushiness, and more sex.}

But the pretty flowers falling from the tree have a nasty effect on their skin.

Anyone outside this afternoon may well see two man running from the Greenhouse to the Caribbean Inlet.

Naked. And covered in a purple and teal blotches. They bolt for the water and start splashing and scrubbing.

It's terribly cold -- first in the snow, then in the water, but Galen keeps moving, and scrubbing at Bodhi with brittle rushes, lacking anything else.

With slowly growing horror, he realises they left their clothes in the greenhouse.

Bodhi keeps moving, keeping to where he can stand up in the water but heading for the warmer parts near the beach. "Keep moving. It's warmer here."

He grabs a handful of wet sand and uses it to scrub Galen's back. He's use to using sand as an abrasive.

"So kriffin' cold," Galen says with chattering teeth.

"Once we get any lingering sap off, I can make a run for the greenhouse and our clothes." He shrugs. "I'm use to being cold."

"But what if they catch you?" Galen worries.

"I'll plead medical emergency. Worst comes to worst, I spend a night in the cells. Better than than both of us freezing."

"I don't want you to be cold," Galen says. Used to it indeed. He dislikes the idea.

"Let's find the warm bay and get some big leaves there. Harmless leaves."

"I'm not sure I trust my botanical identification for harmless any more." Bodhi grumbles, keeping moving towards the beach. He's clumsy in water, trying to hide how much he hates how unsafe it makes him feel.

"Ist there any way we could get help?" Galen wonders as they wade, leaving wakes like boats.

"We could ask Myrrh to go for help. If she follows us down. She's even less fond of this much water than I am."

"I think I've seen something stalking through the rushes," Galen says, peering towards the shore.

"Myrrh, is that you?" Bodhi inches as close to the rushes as he dares, without exposing too much.

A black furry face with triangular ears peeks out from the rushes and winks at them.

Galen wades towards it, clutching his privates.

"Oh Myrrh! I'm so glad to see you." Bodhi goes down in his knees, paddling carefully closer. "We need you to get help. Someone to bring us clothes."

"Get Teja! Teja! Please!" Galen adds.

Myrrh looks at them, then jumps like a loth-cat, turns in mid-air, and vanishes.

Bodhi sinks back in the water, sighing heavily. "I'm just glad she's so clever."

Galen sinks down beside him and sighs. "I guess she knows what Teja means."

"He was her people before she chose us." Bodhi nods, moving closer to Galen to scrub at the splotches on his back. "Are they starting to itch? Mine are."

"Yes, and getting harder to ignore," Galen admits. "We'll need the infirmary."

"I'm so sorry, Galen." Bodhi grabs a handful of wet sand, scrubbing it softly over Galen's back.

Galen smiles at the creature comfort, a bit like a cat having their back rubbed. "Thanks," he says. "And that plant is really not your fault."

"I need to learn more about the things in the greenhouse before I go playing with them again." He still feels responsible. "And I was the one who seduced you under the tree."

"I was being seduced -- with all bells, whistles and gongs!" Galen says, smiling widely. "So that is what it was. That was amazingly wonderful."

"And now we're all covered in spots. I'm not sure if that's better or worse then Baze seeing our bare asses."

"Now he could see our bare asses being teal and purple," Galen says. "Perhaps that's less offensive."
