Watching Walther work is distracting and terrifying, but he would feel better if Toby and Tybalt appeared. Maybe he goes to get coffee, that should make Toby appear. When he opens the door onto what should be a faculty kitchen and sees Milliways, he raises an eyebrow. He has his human disguise up but drops it as he goes through the door showing his pointed ears, unnaturally blue eyes and bronze hair.

Its not even been a few hours since he last saw Milliways but as he enters, he almost trips on a K'nex piece. Apparently he's missed things here, but Milliways time seems like Summerlands' time. At the counter, he orders a donut along with coffee to go before turning to see if he can spot anyone he knows.

There is, at least, the halfpint version of someone he knows.

"Careful," Yamato says. "Everyone was shrunk down to action figure size for 'bout a week, and the remnants of the miniaturoid civilisation are still everywhere."

Quentin blinks, he's never going to get used to meeting kid Yamato, "Pixie sized, were you hit with it too?"

"Eighties mad science, apparently," Yamato says, dryly. "We got bridges and ladders set up, and everyone sort of managed, and then we all got unshrunk."

"Mad science, so not magic? That's a nice change, I guess."

"From the ground level, it doesn't make much of a difference, though."

[heatherandsteel]

"Probably not, its all one more problem to deal with. How are you doing?"

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Dealin' with the evil vampire Digimon. Or not dealing with him, since he took his whole army to our world, and we're stuck in the Digital World. Usual stuff."

Well.

Within standard deviations of usual, at least.

"What about you?"

That sounds awful but also like the kind of horrible Yamato gets,

"Someone's missing and might be causing rips in the fabric of my world's reality so we have to find her."

"... How's she doing that? Is she doing it on purpose?"

[heatherandsteel]

"Its not on purpose, she has power that she can't control."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Hell of a power," Yamato grumbles. "D'you have any leads on finding her?"

[heatherandsteel]

"There's a race of Fae who can teleport, she's just more powerful than normal."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"If you find her, will she get training?"

[heatherandsteel]

"Yes, she will," He knows Etienne and he'll find a way to make things right, but a lot can happen before they even get to that point.

"Guess you just need to find her, then. Havin' any luck?"

[heatherandsteel]

"Not yet though we have something to help us find her."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"Some kind of tracker?"

[heatherandsteel]

"A magical one, yes, we haven't been able to really test it yet."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"How does it work?"

[heatherandsteel]

"We tune it to her magic and then it should lead us to her."

[angry_friendship_wolf]

"How d'you go about tuning it to her magic? Is she leaving some kind of magic signature behind when she teleports places?"

He will likely know the tall fellow in the leather jacket who enters some time later...without a certain knight. Tybalt ducks and sidesteps his own sets of K'nex (although he would not know them as such) with a frown before spotting Quentin and altering his path to join him.

"Good day, Lordling."

"Where's Toby?" Its Tybalt's job to watch her when she's with him.

A corner of Tybalt's lip twitches before he pulls up to stand and stare at Quentin. Were this one of their Courts, he would likely have to make an issue of being addressed in such a manner, but seeing as they are not, Tybalt half nods before taking a seat.

"She is soon to join you, assuming you are still at the Berkeley campus. I left her at the bridge, that she may join you. I would have insisted on walking her to her alchemist's office, but I had pressing matters I could not ignore. It is day still. I am sure she can't...." He breaks off before finished that sentence and tempting Fate. "I am certain she will find you upon your return."

Quentin nods, there's graciousness and thanks in it, "It will be good to see her. I was getting some coffee ready for her."
