First emergence
A young woman, dressed in what looked to be 'regency styled kung-fu robes, emerged through the door, the entrance way behind her showing what could be an underground cellar, wide and supported by stone and wood frames. The bottom corner of her lip is bloody showing signs of a bruise, though at the moment it's hidden from the handkerchief being used to staunch the blood. Almost immediately, the condition of her face was forgotten in favor of her current location.
Perhaps Lydia struck her harder than she thought?
"Papa..." Her accent is light british as she tries to find the older man. "Since when has a tavern been part of the property?" The nearest pub was four miles from home.
She turned around. The cellar was still there, but it seemed none of her sisters remarked on this strange sighting.

“Whoa, you okay there?”

The girl had skill when she was focused enough, even she had to see that. Elizabeth just wished she wasn't so silly in the bargain.
"What exactly is this place?"

"It's a bar," he says. "A very, very weird bar, but a pretty harmless one for all its strangeness. People tell me it's the bar at the end of the universe, for whatever that means."

"Whatever that means," She repeated, still unsure herself.
Something caught her eye and she turned with a start at the large rodents walking around the tables. "Are those...rats?"
Of course, the risk of a rodent problem happened on occasion back home (she'd been compelled to check for Zombies while traveling), which was why more than a few tavern and shop keepers kept cats on the premise. Yet these were clearly too large to be fearful of any mousers.

As if to demonstrate, he asks one of the rats for a pad of paper. Sure enough, the rate scurries off and returns quickly, pad in hand.

Still wary, she joined him at the bar, and asked for a cold compress. The cut on her lip may have not been serious, but she could feel a bruise forming, and she felt it to her credit that she did not jump when the rat gave her a pack of something blue and cold to the touch.
Not entirely was she was expecting (didn't even know what it was), but the purpose served well enough.

"If it's your first time at the bar, it really is pretty harmless," he says. "It'll serve you whatever drink you want and it's always ready to help, and most of the people here and pretty friendly."

"I do not suppose 'it' will provide a fresh change of clothes?" She supposed there were rooms above, if this was like other taverns (rats and magic aside), but she was also sweaty and needed a chance out of her sparing gown.

At that second part, he pauses and shrugs. "...to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure," he says, thinking it over. "I've never asked the bar for clothes before." Because why ask for new clothes when you have exactly one outfit and it suits all your needs.

"Doing?" She quickly averted her eyes.

{ooc: sorry, that should have been 'alright'not 'already'. My bad!}

Atleast, she knew what this place was by now.

She had no money to rent a room at the moment.

It was just yet another example of how people wished things were, versus the reality. Her father made such thoughts known to all of them, but Elizabeth was the only one who vocally shared them-second to Mary, however she kept such thoughts to herself.
