Happy hour
Spring has returned and brought with it Demeter's daughter, rain and a growing world. The front door opens onto a green garden and Demeter beams at Milliways. At the counter along with her glass of wine, she gets an invitation to bartend and she laughs and goes out her door before returning with a full basket of delicious smelling food. Then she goes behind the counter to set everything.
Happy Spring!
Wine-red, white, retsina, rose
Beer
Ouzo, whiskey
Breads-Olive with kalamata, my own recipe of white bread
Olives and olive oil from my groves, taramasalata, hummus, tzatziki
Loukoumades with honey and cinnamon or chocolate sauce, fried to order, yogurt cake
To welcome spring, if you would like a seedling of any sort, I have many varieties.
Then she refills her wineglass, makes herself a plate of food and looks to see which faces she knows.
OOC: I wanted to give her a Spring Happy Hour, links to Greek recipes. Open into the weekend.

Looking over the special's board he nods, impressed, then gives the woman behind the counter a smile.
"Hi."

"I don't know. There's a few things on the board I don't think I've tried before. How about the loukoumades?" He's not quite sure on the pronunciation, but does his best with it.
And yeah, he probably should start with dinner first, but something sweet sounds too good to pass up.

She's always happy to share the food of where she's from.

"Sure, whatever you recommend." Since she seems to be sharing her favorites.

Taking a drink, he nods approval.
"So are you from Greece, then?"

"Oh yeah? I'm from the United States," he replies, then adds an introduction. "My name's Barry, by the way."

"They're good. I really like the honey."

As he babbles Barry downs more of the puffs, taking a drink before answering her question.
"Central City. It's uh, 2014 for me." If that makes a difference, although most times it's whether or not Central City exists in a person's world.
