First EP
The door opens, and a young man (not yet out of his teens but close) strides in looking like a man with a purpose.
As soon as the door closes behind him, he stops short, head lifting sharply, and he glances quickly around the unfamiliar space. A moment later, he has pulled a long, slender item from his pants pocket. It looks sort of like a rod of some sort of crystal with a metal handle attached, eight inches long or so. His gaze still darting around the room, he quickly draws a few symbols on his arm with the device, leaving thick, black lines as it goes.
"By the Angel," he mutters. "What has Hodge been up to now?"
[ooc: Quick note, while I'm using the lovely Matthew Daddario as a PB, Alec comes from the books, not the TV show.]

A scruffy looking man with long hair and yellow goggles drops his tools and abandons the weird upside down spider-droid thing he's working on to make a grab for the kitten. "Kyber! I'm so sorry!"
no subject
"I'm only going to ask this once," he says, his voice calm and firm. "Who are you, where am I, and how did I get here?"
Clearly some sort of portal, but there are no portals in the Institute.

"Put the knife away. There's no violence allowed here." Bodhi's voice is just as firm and a bit wary. "You're in Milliways, the bar at the end of the universe. It's a bubble universe. And you come in through the door behind you. Unless you're dead."

Finally, he lowers the knife. Some. This guy is clearly a mundane, and therefore zero threat.

He relaxes a little seeing the knife go away. "But most people just visit. From all over the multiverse. But there are a lot of people from a planet called Earth."
no subject
He looks vaguely confused. There aren't ghosts, right? If there were ghosts, somebody would have told him, right?
He looks from the (ghost?) to the knife and back again and realizes that...knives probably don't work against ghosts, and he slides it back into its sheath.
"Who here is from Earth?" he asks, glancing around the room like he thinks he'll be able to pick them out.
no subject
He doesn't relax much as the knife goes away. He's tired of this rubbish. "Ask around. It's a pretty popular planet here."
no subject
Even then he has to sort of shuffle back through their encounter in his mind to figure out why.
"Sorry," he says. "About the knife? I didn't mean to offend you."
no subject
He shrugs. "I guess it's more of a life after life. I'm definitely breathe and bleed." there's a little catch in his voice on the word bleed. "But I know I died. And so did my lover. But he's here now too. And we finally get to have a life together. Without worrying about the war."
no subject
His attention catches on the pronoun used, but he shrugs past it pretty easily. "You live in a bar?"
no subject
He lightens a bit at that, almost smiling. "We have an apartment upstairs. Nicer than either of us could have afforded before. I even have a garden."
no subject
"How big is this place?" He'd said bubble universe, and Alec had envisioned something a little smaller, though he supposed he shouldn't have.
It...it just looks like a bar. No stranger than the Hunter's Moon. Now that he's looking closely, he starts to wonder if it isn't some sort of glamour, but he can't see through it if it is. Not faerie style, but...he wouldn't put it past the Seelie Queen.
no subject
"Much bigger than it seems. The garage downstairs is massive, the library too. And the rooms upstairs take up more space than it looks from the outside."
no subject
"It's a strong glamour," he says. He's used to spaces being bigger than they seem, but he can usually see that they are.
no subject
"I wouldn't know. There isn't really magic where I was from. Unless you count the Force and what the Jedi could do. But even then, I don't really think that was magic. Just and extra sense."
no subject
"You said there's a garage? Are there roads?" His face is a little more animated.

Please let it be motorcycles. Please let it be motorcycles.

"And, what, people just...rent them?" he asks, super casual. Seriously, if he can rent a motorcycle for an hour, he might not even care if this place is actually a demon dimension.
