A notice has appeared on the noteboard:
Resident looking for patrons with background or experience in engineering/physics to assist with construction of particle accelerator (schematics will be provided). Ask for Dr. Gaster.
A pen is provided underneath the notice. Or, you could just walk up to the skeletal figure sitting at a table with a pile of schematics.

He asks Bar who this Dr. Gaster fellow is. She points Baze in the direction of the skeleton, so off he goes.
"Hoi! May the Force of others be with you! Are you Dr. Gaster?"
no subject
[Yes, I am. Are you inquiring about the notice on the board?]
no subject
"Yup! You said you needed help building something?"
no subject
He turns to the schematics on the table.
[It's based off the idea of a particle accelerator, to convert beams of light into solid matter, but wearable.]

"Neat! That sounds like fun. What do you need me to do?"

He's rather intent on what's on the screen, but he just happens to glance up when passing the notice board and spots the latest posting.
Reading the note, Cisco's brows lift and it's hard to say if he's intrigued or upset by the posting. "Say what now?"

He's never been good at interpreting the tone of others's voices, so he decides to stay where he is and see if the human will approach him or not.]

Cisco can't decide if that name sound sinister or not. It's certainly not familiar, so he glances around and asks loudly, "Okay, who here is messing around with high-energy physics?"

"HOLY SHNIKIES what are you?!"

"Oo, a particle accelerator! I wonder what this one will look like."
A project like building a particle accelerator will be a welcome distraction from the countless revisions of how she should or shouldn't have acted in front of that sobbing god. She can hold off on going back home.
"Who is this Dr. Gaster, through?" She asks herself. She's close enough to Bar to notice an answer napkin pop up. "Oh, I see. Or maybe I don't."
She takes off her hat, revealing a pair of plumose antennae sticking out of her blonde hair. She is able to spot someone matching Dr. Gaster's description and she buzzes her way over.
"Well, those schematics are probably a good sign I am in the right place. Are you Dr. Gaster?" she asks Dr. Gaster's image as she hovers near the table.

"It appears that you can hear and understand me. Or maybe you are reading my lips?" she wonders aloud, her thoughts escaping her head.
"I am sorry, that was rude," she apologizes with a momentary blush. "Yes, I am interested in helping. I am Fairy Fixit, teleportation network engineer," she say before doing a mid-air curtsey.
"We don't use particle accelerators at home but some worlds we connect to do. I haven't ever helped build one, but I do know a bit about how they work."

[Good to hear. And yes, I can hear you. I'm unable to speak in this form. This device I'm constructing is designed to make me corporeal and able to interact with objects. Of course, until it's built, I can't use tools, so I need people to help me do it. Is that something you'd be interested in?]
Gaster is dying to ask her about the 'other worlds' comment, but he'd like to know if she's onboard first.

She pauses...
"I might not be that useful manipulating heavy equipment without assistance, though." While she is not tiny, she is a humanoid looking creature just a bit under 2 foot tall and built for flying and holding up her disproportionately large head. "Well, I can lift and carry things, but I am not great at pushing or pulling things."

This is a known but thankfully rare occurrence if one wanders into the Science District.
Not to worry. Cecil is up to date on his tetanus and rabies shots.
"Hello, Doctor Gaster. How is your science today?" Cecil calls politely as he settles down his pile of books, his fresh cup of coffee balanced on top.

{Hello, Mr. Palmer. It's going well, thank you. The schematics for the device I'm building have been finished, and now I just need some help to build it.]

They were kind of expecting him to be a robot, since the two of them had been conversing in omnicode. 'Gelatinous human skeleton with a skull fracture' makes some sense given the existential accident he suffered, however.
// Hello, Dr. Gaster. They wave, booping an audio greeting to accompany the transmission. // I can see you now. What changed?

He points to the device in the corner of the room, and then has a worried thought.
"It's not interfering with your systems, is it?"
no subject
// Not significantly. My model was designed to withstand much stronger electromagnetic effects. It would be pretty embarrassing for the robot army if a few humans with parts they picked up at Radio Shack could stop Bastion units in their tracks.
