First Glittery Entry of the High Warlock of New York
The front door opens exposing a large loft, a cat, and a glittery warlock.
Tall, thin, Asian man with spiky black hair stands in front of the door, "This isn't my wardobe." he comments to himself, or his cat.
For Magnus life isn't worth living if you aren't willing to take risks and this is a risk, perhaps his father is trying to trick him or something.
With a shrug he tells his cat, "You stay here". The cat meows and Magnus has no idea what he is saying but assumes that is the cat agreeing to stay.
So in walks Magnus Bane, in tight black jeans, sequined shirt, face and hair tastefully covered in glitter, with a flourish.

This place looks interesting. As does that the silky green shift dress. That green reminds him of his friend Rangor Fell which is why his attention lingers for a moment longer than most of the rest of the bar.

"Welcome to Milliways" she greets him kindly. Her own style tasteful but revealing. A low cut silk black tank top and beige pants with black heels. Her makeup is bright red and her dark hair left loose hanging just below her shoulders.

Taking a seat next to her, "And where exactly is Milliways?"

"Absolutely correct," the baker smiles at the dark... hmmm... possibly part-blood Other, from what her Dark Sight suggests. "Welcome to Milliways."

"Thank you." he curtsy's as he approaches. "I do hope I will get my wardobe back." he takes a seat, "I am rather attached to my clothes."

There is a tray of fresh baked goods in front of her - cinnamon rolls the size of human skulls, gooey with homemade icing, are very much in evidence, as well as long, low wedges of moist, dark chocolate cake as dark and rich as sin, chocolate-vanilla swirls, muffins of many kinds, and what look like swirled strawberry meringue cookies.
"Milliways tends to show up unexpectedly in unorthodox places," she explains, chuckling as she continues arranging the baked goods into an enticing display for sale. "It likes showing up in my bakery without even asking permission. But it's not an unwelcome diversion. My name is Rae, by the way, but most of my friends call me Sunshine."

After that burst of energy however Magnus sinks down into a barstool. It's been a rough night.

"Though, if you don't mind me saying so, you look worn out. Long day?"

He sees the entrance, and he thinks there is no mistaking that glittering head.
He stutters to a stop. "Magnus Bane?"
I mean...he'd heard Alec was here, but if Magnus is as well?
He is so going to tell Cecil about this.

"At your service" he gives an exaggerated bow when he approaches the boy. Taking a closer look at him, his cat eye gleams in the light. No marks, not Nephlim, not vampire, perhaps werewolf (but thinks this is unlikely).

"Are you dead? Is this some sort of afterlife dimension?" he has read about such things. He starts to pace talking to himself replaying his magical activities for the day trying to figure out if he could have accidentally opened a dimensional door ... "No, opening door between dimensions is too difficult to be done accidentally."
no subject
He cuts himself off, remembering what Cecil had said about timelines.
"Er...what year is it? For you, I mean."

"Did you fall into a kindergarten craft session, or what?" she asks. Because that is a lot of sparkle for one person--and she's the one with the bright blue hair here.

Taking the bait he walks the door which shuts behind him and he walks over, "I am who I am" his voice a verbal flourish.
Magnus likes her hair, "What is this place? And how did it get into my wardrobe" his tone jovial and his demeanor is unconcerned and unafraid of this strange place.
no subject
That's new.
"It's called Milliways. And it shows up in a lot of places--it exists outside your usual time-and-space location. It's just that the doorway was in your closet." Wardrobe, whatever.
no subject
He isn't going to nit pick terminology. "And why would it decide to appear in my loft?"
no subject
"It's more likely you just happened to come upon the door when you and it were on some sort of...more compatible frequency than normal." She does not do magic. She really does not. (This could get interesting.)
