There's a few people working down in the garage today.
Bodhi and Galen are fixing up an Epsilon-class Imperial cargo shuttle. Floating near by is a repainted Parrot Droid, fetching and carrying tools on Bodhi's command. There's still some glitches and the thing stutters and drops things from time to time. Watch your toes!
Not far away, Jay has the parts of a personal field generator spread out on a table, cleaning the parts before he starts to put them back together. Every now and then, he calls over to Galen for help to confirm he has the wiring right.
{ooc: All three are open for tagging, let us know who you're after.}

The droid chitters at Galen, dropping a tool on the panel next to Galen's foot.

He finds the droid kind of cute, if a tiny bit over-eager.

Jay for his part is busy arguing with Lock about the field size adjustment mechanism. George however, floats over to see what they're up to.

He fires up the controls, the wings creaking loudly as they contract and fold upwards. Then stop with a shuddering groan.
"Stars!" He swears, and lowers them again. "Right rear actiuator's jammed." That wing sticks where it is.
He comes out to climb up on top, trying to fan away smoke as the actuator burns out. "We're going to have to rip that out and rebuild it."
The droid chitters again and lands perched on Bodhi's back, looking over his shoulder. Bodhi turns to read the lettering. "ES-0R." He shrugs to Galen. "Esther?"

George nods and beeps a happy positive but before he had strike up a conversation with Esther, the parrot droid zooms over towards Jay's workshop.
There's muffled shouts and Esther comes zooming back with a small fire extinguisher. Which she drops on Bodhi's foot.
Jedha has no native language so the locals uses swearwords from all over the galaxy. Some of the best Bodhi uses now.

He hurries over to Bodhi. "Are you hurt? Stuff dropping on your toes isn't trivial. Lyra once broke her little toe because she dropped a candle on it, in our apartment on Coruscant. A candle!"

He can't lend a hand in this state, but he's happy to watch and learn about new technology, and offer insight if needed.
(ooc: open to any of the three. :))

He spots the figure lingering between the workshops and nods. "Hey mate. Can you do me a favour and monitor how far off the ground my feet land?"

"Hey. That's cool!"

[That's incredible! You were at least a meter in the air!}

He aims for the ground. And misses, by about the same distance.

[How interesting. So it generates a barrier of sorts?]
