Saturday Multi-pup: Brunch at Milliways

These things happen more or less simultaneously:
 

• Dr. Hannibal Lecter enters the bar from the kitchen, bearing a small tray of autumnal themed cupcakes;
• Teja comes in from the back, talking to little Egil, and followed by four cats who hope for a late breakfast, which is provided in the shape of tea, bread, and smoked fish for humans and cats alike;
• Galen Erso emerges from the elevator to the garage, smudged, animated and followed by merely two cats, for whom he orders tuna immediately along with his own caf;
• the door opens and in walks Ragnar Lothbrok, groaning and flapping his hands irritatedly at whatever he is leaving behind beyond the door before he realises where he is, and orders beer and a pizza;
• Father Pearse Harman walks down the stairs, carrying papers and a boxy laptop computer while politely asking the first rat he encounters to provide him with a pot of tea and some biscuits.

"That seems like a good idea; I shall speak with X on your behalf," Teja says.

"Thank you - I'd like that! If she wants me to perform for her of course I'd be willing." Carlotta says. "It would be nice to have a new challenge now Molly is at school."

"I doubt she might want to see ypu perform," Teja says, "but she is likely to interview you about your experience."

[fiery_ring]

"Well, I should think she'd want to see that I was physically capable of arresting people who aren't my grandmother." Carlotta says, munching on her kipper.

"She might then ask you to spar, rather than stand upright upon a horse," Teja suggests.

[fiery_ring]

Carlotta laughs.

"I haven't done that for rather a long time. I mean, I could, but I do more teaching than performing in the ring, other than as Ringmaster."

[ostro_goth]

"So what would you perform for her?"

[fiery_ring]

"Arresting, as I said." Carlotta says.

[ostro_goth]

"How would you perform that?"

[fiery_ring]

"Are you volunteering?" Carlotta grins.

[ostro_goth]

"I might be," Teja says. " She should find it amusing to see you dodge my axe."

[fiery_ring]

"I shall keep that in mind." Carlotta laughs, hoping she won't have to knee him in the groin.

[ostro_goth]

"So indeed, I am volunteering," Teja says, officially agreeing.

But perhaps not to being kneed in the groin.
