Ep: The joys of job responsibilities
Ibani comes into Millways with a headache already building.
She has 'inherited' Zash's other two apprentices, and she now has underlings to manage in a bureaucracy she never received training in it. There are reasons that Sith apprenticeships generally last for years and years, not the less than a calendar year of training that Ibani actually got.
And, of course, she doesn't dare show that she doesn't know what she's doing. Thank the Force for Milliways and it's time stopping capabilities!

He spots her instantly - it never takes him long to find Ibani.
He trots over to her and smiles.
"Evening, love. I've just finished making you something."
no subject
"What was it that you made?" She's always curious to see what Garyn has done.

"The magicka restoration potion I gave you seemed to help," he says, "so I made more of them. I got up to twelve in this batch."
no subject
"How have you been? I'm trying to sort out the bureaucracy I was never properly trained in and the two apprentices I've inherited from Zash, but nothing seems to be trying to kill me at the moment."

He sets his pack down on a tabletop.
"I can't say I envy your task either. But I'm sure you're clever enough to manage."
no subject
"I'm glad that you're not doing anything terribly dangerous, for once." She pauses, "Though I may be about to change that." And yes, she feels guilty about that.
"My ghostly ancestor has a possible lead on something that may help with getting rid of Zash."
no subject
His eyebrows raise and his eyes flash something like excitement.
"Whatever it is you need, I'll do it. If I can kill her myself, so much the better."
no subject
"It seems that there was a Sith centuries ago who tried to recreate Tulak Hord's ritual that let him feed on the power of his slain enemies. Ergast didn't quite manage that, but he did find a way to bind Force ghosts, supposedly."
"Zash isn't precisely a Force ghost, but I'm HOPING there will be some cross applicability. Luckily, Ergast's tomb is in the same complex where Lord Kallig, my ghostly ancestor, is buried." The one with all the creepy ghost mental voices that is perpetually dark. Yay?

Peering and now sliding the pot of tea he bought in her direction.
"You look like you could use some tea," he says, in the gruff tones of a practised mother hen. "It's got ginger in it. And wasabi."
It's not helping the cold much.
no subject
"It probably wouldn't hurt," she replies, before sniffing the tea curiously. (And testing it with the Force for poison and drugs, but that's just deeply ingrained habit by this point.)
"Do you want some help with that cold?" she offers.

He sniffles slightly, like there's a sneeze coming on, but the sneeze never actually comes.
