milliways_bar | May the Fourth Be With The All Skate

The bar shifts, or it changed when no one was looking, and now resembles a certain cantina popular with the villainy and scum, as well as more upstanding folks. The air is dryer than usual, and a taste of grit and sand just hangs in the air. It just makes you want some blue milk doesn't it?

Has your character changed? Perhaps...who can tell? The Landlord I suppose but they aren't talking.

[ooc: HI and Welcome to a Star Wars themed All Skate, the best way to celebrate May the Fourth! Party style post. You do not have to interact with any of my characters to play.
The Rules are simple:

Well there's a familar voice.

"Commander." He gives her that smile that the 501st have between them perfected - you are my superior and we will obey your every command but you're also my baby sister.

"I don't... well, come here. This is my first time. I wasn't expecting to see any familiar faces, to be honest."

She stands a little taller when she hears her rank, both because she feels that's what you do and because it feels good to have that rank.

"Oh. Well, in the first place there is no danger here and we can go back through the door back to where we came from. Beyond that, it gets weird." She half turns and gestures for him to follow her. "Let's get you a drink while I explain things. General Skywalker knows of this place, so as long as you don't go back to duty compromised, he's okay with it."

"General Skywalker knows."

Well, of course he does. Fives hasn't been with the 501st long, but already he wouldn't be surprised if this was General Skywalker's fault.

(He won't say that out loud.)
He follows her in the usual position of just behind her, out of habit and respect despite being definitely off duty - it's going to take some getting used to even sharing a social space with a Jedi.

"I've had a bit explained to me already, but not the part where you and General Skywalker are regulars."

That's a relief. She wasn't sure how she was going to explain it in a way that made sense.

"Well, it varies, to be honest. Sometimes the doors don't show up for a long time." They make it to bar and Ahsoka hops up onto a stool. "This is Bar. She's kind of like a droid though she doesn't talk. Just tell her what you'd like and she'll provide. She will sometimes use writing on napkins when she needs or wants to communicate."

"I'll have some yarba tea please."

A droid who doesn't talk is probably the best kind of droid, Fives doesn't say.

He does glance down bar to another patron reading from a napkin writen in a language Fives definitely doesn't recognise, but what good is a droid that can't translate?

"Yeah, I guess I'll have one of those as well."

He'd ask for something stronger when he's not being accompanied by basically a child who is also General Skywalker's ~~kid sister~~ Padawan.

"I should warn you it's bitter and I won't take offense if you need sweetener."

She looks around a bit and turns back to him.

"General Skywalker has said it's best if this stays on a need to know. Time can be weird here, and the doors don't open for everyone, so it's best to only talk about it with those who come here."

She really hopes Rex makes it here someday but so far he hasn't.

"Roger that."

But.

"That's not going to be easy. Not talking to the others about it."
