May the Fourth Be With The All Skate

The bar shifts, or it changed when no one was looking, and now resembles a certain cantina popular with the villainy and scum, as well as more upstanding folks. The air is dryer than usual, and a taste of grit and sand just hangs in the air. It just makes you want some blue milk doesn't it?

Has your character changed? Perhaps...who can tell? The Landlord I suppose but they aren't talking.

"If only we were closer to home," Ben laments with a smile. "My vaporator's falling apart, and could do with someone looking at it.

"Why don't you tell me the story for now."

"OK." Luke settles in and takes a big sip of his shake before starting. "So, like I said this is a story I overheard, so I don't know if it's actually true. The cargo pilot was talking to a bounty hunter and said he saw the strangest thing out in space, at a station orbiting a system or two over. A tusken that had their own ship!"

"It was a small craft, the guy said it was likely an old fighter craft, and he just had to know how the heck the tusken got it. So he walks over and introduces himself. Seems he knew a bit fo their hand language. The basics were that the tusken found the fighter out in the Sea of Dunes. Just tripped over it one day. The tusken had always wanted to see the stars, so he hid it from his tribe and figured out some way to get it repaired."

"The cargo pilot didn't know enough to get everything. But once the ship was repaired, he took off and hasn't been back to Tattooine since."

"Isn't that crazy?"

Ben's smile is slight, but warm, and his chuckle is genuine. "That is crazy. I didn't think the Tuskens would be able to live without sand."

Luke shrugs.

"I warned you it was crazy. Still, it is kind of neat to image a tusken who wanted to see more than Tatooine. And tuskens have to be different just like people are, right?"

"It would certainly be a very dull universe if we were all the same," Ben agrees. "And I think that story more than pays for the milkshake. What do you think of it, by the way?"
