May the Fourth Be With The All Skate

The bar shifts, or it changed when no one was looking, and now resembles a certain cantina popular with the villainy and scum, as well as more upstanding folks. The air is dryer than usual, and a taste of grit and sand just hangs in the air. It just makes you want some blue milk doesn't it?

Has your character changed? Perhaps...who can tell? The Landlord I suppose but they aren't talking.

[ooc: HI and Welcome to a Star Wars themed All Skate, the best way to celebrate May the Fourth! Party style post. You do not have to interact with any of my characters to play.
The Rules are simple:

"I don't think so. It was kind of a dead of night, lonely stretch of road type event," Pikachu replies.

Of course, those circumstances beg the question of what they were even doing out there, but Pikachu is still working the clues and hasn't uncovered that answer yet.

"I'm guessing we were working a case, but I'm still unwinding the evidence and timelines."

"I see. That does make it harder," Hopefully Pikachut has good allies.

[detective_pikachu]

"A bit, but I know I'm going to solve this case, I can feel it in my jellies, y'know?"

[childofrebellion]

"I think so," Not the phrasing but the idea.

[detective_pikachu]

"Yeah, you get me," Pikachu says with approval, pointing at Cassian.

"And what about you? What do you do?"

[childofrebellion]

"I'm a pilot in space. I live in a place called the Galactic Empire."

[detective_pikachu]

"Ooo, sounds fancy," Pikachu notes. "Or ancient. Or ancient fancy. We don't have 'Empires' anymore. I don't think. I gotta admit, I'm not very worldly traveled."

And if he was, he probably wouldn't remember it right now anyways.

Cassian takes a drink as he wouldn't think of either of those words for the Empire,

"They're rich and powerful the Empire's only been around about fifteen years."

[detective_pikachu]

"Ohhhhh, so the bad guys. Got it," Pikachu says, giving a small thumbs-up.

[childofrebellion]

"Yes, the bad guys," A simple way to put it but also true.

[detective_pikachu]

"Yep, I knew it," Pikachu declares matter-of-factly. "'Empire' just has that evil-guy vibe."

[childofrebellion]

"I guess it does." Its the name that Cassian's used to but put that way, it makes sense.

[detective_pikachu]

"So then what's space like? Minus the bad guys in charge?" Pikachu asks, glancing around the bar and hoping it isn't all like this place.

Not that Pikachu has anything against a rough and tumble establishment, it's just not really his scene.

Cassian smiles as that's one of those questions he never has a good answer for, "Full of a lot of different planets."

[detective_pikachu]

"Go on... " Pikachu urges stepping closer to the counter's edge and listening raptly.

"Do you float? Are black holes scary? Are there any moons actually made out of cheese?"

[childofrebellion]

"You float if the gravity in your ship isn't working or you're on a planet with low gravity or lots of water. I try to avoid black holes and I don't think so."

[detective_pikachu]

"Ooo, water planet. That's a no-go for me. What's your faaaaaavorite spot, like out of the whole universe?" Pikachu asks, waving his arms to indicate the great expanse of everything.

[childofrebellion]

"My favorite, there's a cafe on a planet where the weather's fairly warm but not too hot that knows how to make dishes I grew up with."

He doesn't go there very often but he likes knowing such a place exists in the galaxy.
