Sameth's in the forge, sorting through some of the smaller tools that he used to use. Nothing's too out of order but he knows it could be better, so he's seated and going over hammers and various sized fasteners.
Its the kind of work that makes the forge nicer to work in and doesn't require too much thought. He knows that Lirael isn't completely happy with her hand but she hasn't told him what's wrong yet, he hopes she does soon. Having something he made not work the best way always nags at him.
Later, he'll find his way into the Bar and by the counter enjoy a spiced wine and fish and chips that remind him of Ancelstierre.
(OOC: Find him inside or out at the forge.)

Fish?
Fish?
Puffy would like some of that fish, Sameth. He stares up at the young wallmaker with wide hopeful eyes and adds a pathetic croon of 'I'm clearly starving despite looking like I've been eating too much'.

Hungry! That's what he is.

Since a small animal is always hungry and its best to feed unknown creatures. When a rat comes by, Sameth orders a plate of whatever the bird thing likes.
no subject
Just yet.
First it must be examined.
"Coo".

Soon a waitrat returns with a bowl of blue puffy cubes, "Its fish and chips."
no subject
But fish.
Puffy likes fish.
The chips are interesting. He sniffs the tartar sauce and then gives a head shaking sneeze. Fluffing up his feathers, he gives the sauce a disgusted look.
On the other hand..
Blue puff cubes!
That distracts him from Sam's dinner as he shoves his face into the bowl. Lifting his head up he crunches one contentedly.

I heard metallic clanking inside a small building I passed, and figured it must be Teja’s forge. Maybe he’d let me take a quick look at the tools inside. I set the scouting drones I’d brought with me in a patrol pattern and knocked on the door, loud enough that he could hear me over whatever they were doing.

He's in a comfortable linen shirt with his Charter Mark just visible through his sweaty hair.

I sighed, backburnered the feeds from my drones, and open the door.
Inside the forge itself cast an orange-yellow glow over everything - and made it warmer inside than it was outside. There were anvils in the middle of the space, and racks of different sizes, shapes, and weights of hammers and tongs hung on the walls. The human I’d mistaken for Teja had fair skin and blond hair, with some kind of tattoo or brand showing through.
I forced myself to make eye contact. “Sorry,” I said, “I thought you might be Teja.”

Before Sameth left for a while, Teja seemed to always be in the forge.

(I wasn’t sure exactly what they had been doing. My knowledge of primitive metalwork was very limited.)

That's usually why people come to the forge, they need something made. He just finished reattaching the handle, which he holds up, its small, meant for working with jewelry.

Then he pauses when he sees her, he doesn't know her face but she feels like she's from the Old Kingdom.

"This is a nice little place you've made for yourself here." She speaks as if she knows him, familiar and accepting. "It is good to keep busy."

And while he was Bound, this forge was where he spent most of his time.

"It must be nice to have a place you can work without your sister interrupting. Although I'd wager Mogget still pokes his nose in to bother you."

"I knew you were a bright one. Yrael will eat all the fish in the ocean and still want more."
"How is Lirael?"
