Shuri's made a few changes to the last version she'd had him test, and has sent him back out with instructions to try smaller things with the new arm this time, as she is looking for fine nuance and haptic feedback results.

As a result, Bucky's decided to settle in the bar at the ends of the worlds for a bit with a good cup of coffee and see what he can figure out to test next.

"Suibian?" He pronounces the name exactly the same as Wei Wuxian has. As they reach the top of the stairs, Bucky lets him take more of his own weight, but doesn't let go yet - just in case.

"Mmm, my sword. If I try to wield her now, she'll knock me out in seconds, but I will improve, little by little." Wei Wuxian declares, a stubborn jut to his jaw.

"Got it. Okay, which way?" Bucky asks. He moves them down the hallway a few steps, away from any prying eyes in the bar below.

"Down here." With his feet actually gaining traction again, he leads the way down the hall, until he reaches a door that has a warding talisman carved into the wood below the number.

The room inside is small, but well-kept - a kitchenette mostly big enough to keep a few snacks and make tea, a low table with a flowering plum branch held in a small vase, and two beds, on opposite sides of the room. There's a door in the opposite wall, hiding a more modern bathroom. Everything is polished woods and minimal furnishings, simple and elegant.

Look, he does have taste, even if in general he doesn't have much in the way of funds of his own.

"Nice room." He waits for Wei Wuxian to indicate which bed is his, then helps him over to it.

"You going to be okay?"

"Yes, yes, I just need to rest a little." Wei Wuxian assures him, dipping into a seated bow. "Hahah, this body of mine is just more frail than I remember, but it is not a permanent thing. You'll see!"

Bucky smiles at that. "I just bet. Take care of yourself, Wei Ying. See you around."
