(no subject)

Mouse in the bar. He's less disheveled than yesterday, and is wearing different clothes.

He looks around for people he knows, and also for people he'd like to know.

She looks at him, rather unhappily. "Well. I just hope it's a better one than your actual life. Karma owes you. 'Cause it doesn't sound good. Was it all bad, though? Your life on your ship?"

"Well, that's good at least. The same..." she breaks off before going all the way to tactless. "Y-yeah." She pushes over a plate of cookies in silent apology. Then, "Well. We of all people should know that there's... things after you die. Maybe... You never know, they could show up here one day."

Shelley sticks with her coffee. The brownies didn't cause the whole falling-in-love thing, but still. Not so good with baked things. Maybe she's... allergic?

"Yeah. Anything... Even sentient Bars. And Dreams getting married." She had been a little confused by that one.

"I guess here, of all places, that's the way to go," she agrees. There is another pause.

"This movie. H-have you seen it yet? Because I have to admit, I'm curious..."

"Yeah, well... don't feel like you have to, or anything. But... thanks. I'd finally know how the whole sometimes 90s, sometimes next millenia thing works out." She doesn't look particularly exited at the thought. Just... well, curious.

She also looks at his coffee mug. She has to say something. "That coffee has got to have been cold for ages. I'll grab you another one." She takes it before he can say yes or no, and goes to the Bar to get replacements for them both.
