And in comes Kon. He's been incredibly bored in the Tower, because for once they have nothing to do. So he's glad for the distraction of the bar.

He's internally debating where he wants to go when he sees Tim, and the decision is set. Heading over, Kon greets the other boy with a grin. "So this place got you again too, huh?"

He mentally reminds himself not to act weird.

At the sound of Kon's voice, Robin looked up from his drink. Of course, he had known that the other boy was in the room as soon as he had stepped inside the bar. He always kept an eye on the door.

"Apparently so," Robin replied with a brief shrug of the shoulders.

"Guess it's better than sitting around doing nothing in the Tower."

"You could train," Robin pointed out, his brow no doubt arched behind his mask. He was always urging Kon to train more and get a better hold on his powers.

"Or not." Kon hasn't ever been terribly excited about the idea. At least not training by himself. Training with others... that was a different story.

Robin wasn't very surprised about that response, of course. He had expected something along those lines, after all.

"So. What's on your mind?" He wasn't the world's best detective's assistant without reason. He could tell something was on Kon's mind.

Kon blinks. "What?" To him, the question had come out of nowhere. So it threw him off.

"What's on your mind?" Robin repeated the question for clarification. "You actually seem to be thinking about how you're acting. Deliberately." Not that Kon didn't do that from time to time, but it was mostly during battle.

"Deliberately?" Kon probably sounds like he's playing dumb. Except for, this time? He really has no idea. Maybe he's been doing the denial thing for long enough now that it's become second nature. If so, it really didn't take long, did it?

Robin watched Kon for a moment before sighing. "Nevermind," he told the other boy with an idle wave of his hand.

He picked up his glass of Zesti and sipped at it for the moment. "What do you do when you come here, Kon?" He asked, curious.

Kon decides that standing around is kind of dumb, and takes a seat across from Tim. "What do I do? Mostly talk to Bart and Vi. And some other people. I've talked to a talking car!" This seems like one the coolest things since sliced bread to him.

Talking car? Well that was certainly interesting. Robin was going to have to look into that.

"How are Bart and Violet doing?"

"Bart's..." Bart had seemed kinda mad at him. Well, mad at his future self, and Kon totally couldn't say anything about that, because? It was bad enough that he knew things. Although he'd brought it all on himself with questions. "...he looked kinda rundown last time I saw him. And Vi's okay."

"Rundown?" Robin frowned when Kon mentioned Bart as being rundown. Bart was, after all, an ever optomistic and energetic boy. He had his downtimes, he knew that well enough, but it still worried him whenever he was down.

"He'd said something about how he was supposed to be talking to his mom when he came in." Which... yeah. Had run the alarm bells in Kon's head, but he'd not really realized it at the time, and wow does Kon feel guilty now.

So Bart had been on his way to the 30th Century? Or had he been there already? This was a bit confusing.

"Was that all, though?" He doubted that was the whole story.

"Nah." But Kon sounds hesitant to tell the whole thing.

"So?" Robin prodded, not being the type to simply let it go. If there was something bothering his friend -- or friends, in this case -- he wanted to know about it.

"He said... that I'm 'being a dick' when he's from."

Robin resisted the urge to dryly ask how that was different from any day. Not that was true, but it was fun to occassionally poke fun at his friend.

"Did he tell you why you're being a dick?"

"...he said that I left the team." Which Kon really... he just really can't believe. Because what could ever make him leave them?

Now that stunned Robin. Kon leaving the team? That was simply...well, he had thought about it, just like he had considered every member of the team and what would happen if they left, but that had merely been theory.

"...Oh." He could see why Bart would be down about that. Robin wasn't quite sure what to say, though.

"Yeah." Kon shakes his head. "I know it'd never happen, but he's saying it does..."

"There's no such thing as never, Kon." And Robin knew that. There were plenty of things he had done since becoming Robin that he had originally thought that he'd never do. He still wanted to think that some things would never happen, but he was realistic. In their business, anything could happen.

"But, I mean... it's you guys!" Kon frowns. "I've been with you guys since, like, forever..." Most of his life, literally. And he'd never actually taken the time to really think about that before.
