*In the doorway, Crowley and a small blonde woman appear. She's holding tightly to his hand, but as soon as she's taken a seat in a booth he bows his head slightly, grinning, and heads to the bar. She watches him, chewing her lip thoughtfully*

They're just breasts, angel. I'm quite used to them, myself.

*she raises an eyebrow*
no subject
Oh, are you, now? Putting them to good use?
no subject
*she looks over at the bar, where something neon yellow still hangs, and smirks*
no subject
Well, I'm not usually quite that comfortable with them.
...in public, anyhow.
no subject
I suppose I must forgive you.
no subject
Gee, thanks. So benevolent.

*She looks down at Sunny, who is sleeping contentedly against her shoulder despite the noisy bar*

*she shudders*

Ugh, I don't even want to imagine having to deal with that. No, she's genuinely good-tempered. I suppose having had a lot of very unfortunate things happen to you will make you grateful when a good situation comes along.
no subject
Things will get better, sweet.

She and her brother and sister were placed in the care of a guardian after their parents died -- a guardian who, from the sound of things, is incredibly insane and desperately trying to get hold of the family fortune. He's killed people who've tried to help them, and locked Sunny in a sodding cage at one point.
*she looks murderous*

*she kisses Tonks on the cheek*

I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right -- Sunny and Harry have a lot in common.
*she sighs*
Poor kid. Wish he'd had someone to come and take him away from the Dursleys, give him a better life and a family that loved him.

*she sighs*
How is he?

The world appears to have it in for him.

Let's hope not.
In the meantime...he's strong. Smart, too.
I think he'll be just fine.

We're doing our best.

Of course I have confidence in you. I trust you implicitly.
no subject
Thanks.
I need to be reminded of that, sometimes.
