*In the doorway, Crowley and a small blonde woman appear. She's holding tightly to his hand, but as soon as she's taken a seat in a booth he bows his head slightly, grinning, and heads to the bar. She watches him, chewing her lip thoughtfully*

Really?

*she flushes slightly*
This is going to sound terribly silly, and Crowley would no doubt laugh. I think it's one of the side products of being an angel but I do know. Love, I mean. I know it when I see it.

*she shrugs*
I'm an angel. I'm not male or female, I'm just me. The form we're assigned makes no difference whatsoever to who we are; I just happened to decide, a long time ago, that I'd be able to get far more done if I were male. And it's become rather comfortable, over the years.

*she looks abashed*
Ah yes. I remember. Er.

That bad?

*she smiles faintly, a touch of sadness to it*
I was in a man's room.
*she laughs softly*
Well, he believed he was a man, at least, though he didn't know nearly so much as he thought he did. And after...
*she looks away, flushed*
It would cause far less trouble for him were a woman seen leaving his rooms. He was asleep. I don't think he ever understood the rumours about him.

Yes, a while ago. Spring of 1872, I believe.
