Kitty enters, reading. Think Belle from Beauty of the Beast, not looking up. Except she doesn't really bother with the walking around people or things bit. Just through them, til she orders a cup of coffee and settles at a booth.

Megwyn look up in surprise at the girl who had abruptly sat across from her. "Hello. Who are you?"

"Kitty," she replies, looking up and then blinking, sheepish. "Er. Oops. Sorry. Wasn't paying attention where I was going."

"That's ok. I was just surprised. I'm Megwyn."

She sips her coffee and sets her book aside. "Nice to meet you."

"What are you reading?" Megwyn is not usually so bold, but Kitty seems to be about her age, and that comforts her.

"Sylvia Plath. Ever heard of her?"

"No. Is she from your world?"

"Yes. Well, she was. She's dead now. But she was a poet."

"Are those like Bards?"

"Without the music, yeah."

"That sounds odd, really. The music is what makes it powerful. Well, unless they have a very strong Gift."

"It is sorta odd, I guess. But it's almost like music, in its own way, too. The rythm and all. Um." Grabs her book and flips through it. "Want to hear some?"
