Cole wanders his way down the stairs once again. He's got his athame in one hand, and a pad of paper and a pen in the other. He looks around, and then heads to a visible booth. He writes a line or two, then scratches it out. This happens a lot.

*Meg wanders over.*

'lo, Cole.

"Meg! Good! I was wondering when I might see you again." He stops writing in his notebook for the moment.

*Meg grins.* I'm around here most of the time - what are you working on? *She peers shamelessly at the notebook.*

"I'm trying to come up with a solution to my problem. I want to try to remove my demon half in such a way that I'm still whole." He looks at her, then grins. "Actually, you might be able to help me."

*Meg blinks at him.* Anything I can do, you know that - what could I do to help?

"Well, what I'm thinking is that I'm going to need the Power of Three to pull this off. Which means I'm going to need three female witches."

*Meg bites her lip.*

Cole - you know I'd love to help, but I can't do any magic -

His grin widens. "You mean you can't yet. I've never tried it on a mortal, but if I could heal you, it's a good bet that I can also empower you too."

*Meg's eyes widen.*

Empower me -

Make me able to do magic?

Cole nods. "Yep. Make you able to do magic."

How can you -

*Meg's voice squeaks a little.*

What sort of magic are we talking, here?

Cole thinks for a second. "Well, I usually specialize in the flashy stuff, Lightning and Fire and such. But I could give you healing, or shimmering, or pretty much anything I can do."

*Meg's eyes shine briefly at the mention of lightning and fire, and then dim again.* Er - I dunno if lightning and fire for me is such a good idea, *she says, cautiously, and then her eyes light up again like stars.*

- can you make me able to fly?

Cole blinks. "Y'know, I've never tried it myself. I can levitate other objects, but I've never levitated myself." He stands and steps out of the booth. A moment later, his feet no longer touch the ground.

*Meg's eyes are practically saucers now, and yes, she does look about ten.*

Could I do that?

Cole touches back down. His grin has been replaced by a large smile. "I think you could! If the transfer works, you should be able to."

That, *Meg says honestly,* would be the most. Amazing. Thing. Ever.

Cole nods. "So, do you want to help me?"

I've always wanted to help you, *Meg says, in some surprise.* I just didn't think I could.

A look of relief passes over Cole's face. "I don't think it'll be that hard. The last time my Demon side was cast off, there was nothing to fill it. But now that I'm an Avatar as well, I think it might be enough."

*Meg nods.*

- there's not a risk to you in this, is there? I mean, you're going to be all right?

Cole shakes his head. "No, shouldn't be a problem. The last time I was perfectly fine, I just had a... hunger. Like something was missing."

All right, *Meg says, relieved.* So when do we do this, then?

"As soon as I can find two other female magic users. That way I can be sure the strength will be enough."

That shouldn't be hard, *Meg says, with a small grin,* around this bar.

Cole returns the grin. "I didn't think it would be." He begins to write in his notebook.

Calling all female magic users:
Cole Turner would like to enlist your services. If you would like to help rid a Demon of his evil side, either speak to him in person, or sign your name to this note.

*Meg points to the noticeboard.* That's where people usually hang stuff -

Cole looks at the board, then stands and walks to it. He attatches the note, and then returns to the booth. "Well, here's hoping."

I bet I can roust up a few, if you've got trouble, *Meg offers.*

"I'd be glad if you did. I don't think I'm in a rush, but I'd like to get this done as soon as I can."

*Meg considers.* I'll ask the first two female magic users I meet tomorrow, how's that?

Cole laughs. "Perfect. Thank you." Now all that's left to do is come up with a spell. He returns to his notebook.
