Nick turns away, to Alex, and looks at him carefully.

"Are you better?"

He nods, leaning against Nick.

"Yeah. Sorry I freaked. He just..."

Nick looks to Alex.

"It's okay. I know how disturbing He is."

A small, nervous laugh.

"I...He lives in my head. I'm...well aware."

He shakes his head.

"Not him. Simon."

"Oh."

And he nuzzles at Alex's cheek.

"What did he...what did he do?"

"I thought he was you at first, another you, like the others. And then when I said my name he... I don't know, he freaked. He said something about having wanted to talk to me for a while, about getting him out of the mess he was in. Didn't believe me when I told him I didn't know what he was talking about."

"Well...I've never called myself anything but Nick. The last name changes but...always Nicholas."

He sighs.

"And I don't like him. He...he smells of blood."

And then he picks up Alex shoosh, Alex, I'm being *male* about it and starts heading up, amazingly not hitting anything considering his nose is deep in the crook of Alex's neck.
