There's an Ace in the bar. Long time, no see.
She's curled up next to the fireplace, the soccer-ball blanket wrapped around her. Oh, and a mug of cocoa sitting beside her. She's missed the cocoa. She still looks a bit too pale, a bit off, but she's back.

Ace does her best to look innocent, and fails miserably.
"S'not my fault she almost had to work in the bar. Blame the Master." she snorts.

"The Master? The guy who blew up your ship?"

"Yeah. Sabotaged it so it started coming apart in the time vortex." She says, mournfully.

Angelo knows very little about time travel, but he gets the gist. He winces.

"And you got thrown back in here?"

"Yeah. The TARDIS has... had... whatbloodyever. Has. Emergency protocols. Something goes that badly, it makes sure the occupants survive. I guess this was the best option." She wishes the TARDIS could have sent a note along as well.

"Well then... odds are your Doctor's somewhere safe too... right?"

"Yeah..." If she had been coherent last night, she might have thought of that. But she wasn't. Ah well. "She doesn't always protect him from regenerating though. It's just something Time-Lords do. She'd see it as a viable option."

"...What would happen if he regenerated where you were? Wouldn't he just die again? Not so much of a viable option..."
