"Men do seem less inclined to learn that sort of thing," she agrees.

"Do you ever perform in the bar, Meg-san?"

*Meg considers.* Well - I've danced in the bar. But dancing and performing aren't quite the same.

She nods. "Perhaps you could sometime. I would like to see that."

*Meg looks curious.* I wonder - could you get to my time? My Paris, I mean?

"I don't know. I would be willing to try."

Well, *Meg says, with a grin,* if you could, you could see a real Opera. Stage, costumes and all.

Her eyes go wide. "Really? Sugoooi!"

*Meg giggles.* I guess that means you'd like to?

"Oh, very much!" She mentally adds another invitation to the list. Three in one week- she's becoming quite the socialite!

Awesome. *Meg beams.* Next time we've got a performance, you're definitely coming to see it.

"Oh, thank you!" She bows, grinning. "That's so very wonderful of you!"

No, it's selfish, *Meg says, with a giggle.* I just want to show off my crazy ballerina skills to all my friends, is all.

"But if you're so good, it's like doing a service to people, because you show them something beautiful." She replies, smiling. "I only wish I had that kind of talent- all I can do isn't very good any more."

Don't you dare say things like that, *Meg says, with a scowl.* You're a wonderful person and you can do loads of stuff I can't do, so if you start putting yourself down I'll have to - I dunno, dump tea on your head, all right?

She cowers, smile frozen. "I- I didn't mean to upset you!" she quickly says, "It's just that my talents have been surpassed so long ago..."

*Meg shakes her head firmly.*

Doesn't matter. Don't you dare think ill of yourself, all right?

*Meg is Fierce!*

"A-all right..." She smiles placatingly, sweating a little. "I'll try not to do things like that anymore..."

Good, *Meg says firmly ~~and discriminates all she likes, say thankya, as the single-handed avatar of French World Domination~~.*

She resists continuing with an "It's just that" explanation, suspecting that it'd get the ballerina riled up, and she prefers not to be wearing her tea.

"Still, I would hardly call anything I do professional-quality," she says instead.

You're kind and helpful and nice to people, *Meg points out.* Do you need professional-quality?

She blushes slightly, smiling. "Oh, I'm nothing special... I just do the things I was made to do." And quickly, in case Meg's considering making a tea-hat for her, "I just wish I could make images a little better..."

Well, if you practice you'll get better at that, won't you? *Meg offers.*

She shakes her head. "There's a limit to what I can do. I don't have enough memory for really great things."

*Meg's brow furrows.* Enough memory?

She nods, then recalls Meg's origins. "Ano... memory... In order to keep up a program, an OS needs a certain amount of memory- it is like fuel for the program. The programs I use don't take up very much memory, but my sisters have much more extravagant programs, so they have more memory than I do." She gives an awkward smile.

"Does that make sense?"
