Happy Hour~~

George walks behind the bar, glancing at the specials left over from earlier in the day.

"Tonight's specials are, in a carry over from earlier in the day, Shish Kebab, with the addition of Spinach and feta cheese omelet, and sweet and sour meatloaf. Tonight's drinks are both r- themed. Rasberry Sex, and Red Dwarf." he announces to the bar, adding the new items to the board.

"What'll it be?"

"Only when I see his ugly face." She sighs heavily and recants.

"It's not his fault though, I guess. He died right before he was pulled here. And I've never been his favorite person. I think mostly because I was so eager to please. It got annoying. I know that now."

"Bad history?" he asks, trying to piece together something coherent from what she's told him.

He suspects he's missing something important.

"Unfortunately, as I understand the rules of this place, the dead are bound here. They can't leave."

She regards George with skepticism.

"Have we been introduced?" Said with eye arched, half smile.

Grinning he answers. "No, I don't believe we have."

He offers her a hand. "George Cooper. And you are?"

"Chloe O'Brian. And I could probably tell you. I just wanted to be sure I didn't recognize your name. I mean, it was bad enough telling everyone I know I worked with that my former boss killed his former boss, but to tell someone that I don't know I worked with? Not a good thing." She rolls her eyes.

He shrugs, still smiling. "Not to worry. I understand." he hastens to reassure her. "I do some work as a spy back home, so it's something I'm well acquainted with..."

"The good side - if you can call it that. I work for the king." he explains. "It's something of a long story, which I'm happy to share with you some other time." He smiles. "My shift is nearly over. Hopefully we'll have opportunity to speak again.."
