Last time was just a dream.
Or at least, she'd assumed it was a dream.
So this time must be a dream, as well.
That's as close as Christine gets to actual logic.
Therefore, when she delicately steps through the door, in a completely different, but equally extravagent dress, to find herself in the bar, she doesn't faint, but only gasps and places her hand on her exposed bosom ever so gently.
Okay, she may faint soon. There's dead people in this bar, after all.

Afterall, it's only a dream, right?
"Yes, thank you!"

It took tremendous power of will not to stare very obviously at the girl's chest, but he would be strong! He would endure! He would...mumble into his pot pie and stutter like an idiot.
But he would not look!

"Oh, nothing!" she says, airily, then her voice drops. "You're not dead, are you?"

"My name's Christine!" and she offers the fingers of her right hand to the charming young man.

He asked, rather bluntly, "You are human, right?"
no subject
"Of course I am!" she declares, paling with concern. "Aren't you?"

Okay, not familiar as such, but a ballerina's a ballerina, right?
"Oh, Hi!" She says brightly, breaking into a delighted smile.

It might be worth pointing out that Christine's dress is much better designed for dropping gracefully to knees than tutus are for fainting.

who is somehow talking to his sister and best friend at the same timerather usefully catching the fainting Meg before he even realizes what he's doing or why."Hey. Girl." Blink. "What did you do to her?" he asks the soprano accusingly. No one is ever innocent.

Ace and dresses have never really been on speaking terms. She's worn a few, mostly for purposes of not getting burned at the stake when she walks out of the TARDIS, but this dress... hell. She doesn't even write to this dress. They don't even exchange Christmas cards.
There may be sniggering from her place at the fireside.

"Hello!" she exclaims, her blue eyes big and round with concern. "Are you cold?!"
no subject
"Err, yes?" I mean, how do you answer a question like that?
no subject
"Oh! I get cold a lot as well!" she declares, sitting down gracefully nearby. "we hardly have any heating at the Opera House! My name's Christine!"

Lucky Ace.
"Welcome to Milliways, Christine." Never hurts to be polite. And she is so staring at the dress, and only the dress, thank you ma'am. She has a very nice boyfriend already, the position of significant other is already filled.
