Actually, please don't. Especially if it involves a chainsaw. Just...stare at him, since he's pretty. Or, you know, talk to him. That would work too. Because he just came into the bar and he's sitting just at the end of it nursing a cup of tea.

*nods*rests his head on Loki's shoulder*

"Thank you for being there for us."

A soft hand run down his hair and neck and back, soft and warm.

"Always, my Richard, always."

He smiles a soft little smile.

"I don't have many...but those I have are those to treasure and I surely do."

He smiles and nuzzles.

"I think you're the best God I've ever had. Certainly the most attentive."

"What can I say? What else've I got to do but look out for the three of you?"

"Well, us and your family."

He laughs.

"That...goes without saying."

He smiles at Richard.

"Have you met Youji, by any chance?"

"No, can't say that I have."

He nods.

"Very sweet boy, a charmer...but very unfortunate past. Lots of problems, that one, and I'm working on him slowly."

He'll not tell Richard what went on in that room upstairs. That's between him and Youji. He also doesn't want to scare him. What he is...can be frightening at times, but Richard will probably never see that part.

"But if you see him, let him know you're one of mine. I think David might have oonfused him a bit, considering our relationship is a little...more than just that of God and Follower."

"I think of David as more your Consort than a Follower."

*nods*

"But yes, I'll look for Youji and tell him who I am."

"Consort? He's getting a title now? Hm...I thought the title of 'David' was special enough."

A small, sly grin.

"But thank you about Youji. He really is a lovely man...just..problems."

*laughs*

"I suppose David is enough. Means Beloved anyway."

*nods*

"What does Youji look like?"

"Tall, lithe young man, shoulder length hair and green eyes. Probably carrying around a flower."

"Right, tall man with a flower. Got it."

*grins*

"How many of us will you take?"

He smiles.

"As many as I can get, surely. As many as need me or want me."

I don't turn away. It's happened too often to me for me to do it to someone else. I'll take all love I'm offered.

I can't blame you for that.

"There's probably a lot of us here who would need you."

He shrugs.

"Feel free to spread word. Apparently, I'm not that...approachable. Or something. Bad press."

He grins.

"I'll do that. And I've never found you unapproachable. Especially in your child form."

He smiles.

"Ah, yes, but the second they hear the name, it's all 'Ragnarok' and 'snake babies' and 'wasn't that you with the horse?', as if they don't realize how DRUNK I had to be at the time...and then there's all the 'evil' I supposedly am. Yes, well, it's difficult."

He laughs loudly at all of this.

"Well, I've never heard about the horse, and Yamino is brilliant, and I've never seen you do true evil, just mischief."

"Yes, well...most people don't take mischief well at all."

And there's a little kid staring at him.

And Richard grins and lifts him high in the air before carrying him over to one of the big chairs in front of the fire.

"Most people have no sense of humor."

He snuggles into Richard.

"People don't get it, is all. I mean, I know that sometimes the Trick is nasty, but it's for a reason. They always end up better than they started. That's how it works. It's to teach or to change or to tilt things so people figure out how to tilt them back. I don't do it to be mean. I'm not mean."

He curls resolutely into Richard.

"I'm not mean...I'm just not always nice."

Richard cuddles him and drops a kiss into his hair.

"You're never mean you're just.....paternal. You do what needs to be done."

He glowers at no one at all.

"Glad somebody sees that. The worst part when Bernard yelled at me was when he thought I would do anything to harm a child or upset a family. Never. I'm a father. And he has no idea what my family's been through. And anyone else who talks about me."

Then he's curling into Richard.

"I just feel bad for Yamino. I'm sure he gets a lot of flak."

His brow creases in concern.

"I think that most people here like Yamino. He's a very sweet boy. I'll try to make sure that no-one bothers him though."

He snuggles Loki closer, protectively.
