Desire appears in the bar.
There's no real reason: Desire doesn't appear to be looking for anyone in particular, nor plotting anything more wicked than lighting a cigarette and ordering a drink.
Perhaps the Endless is merely bored.

'Sightless,' the Endless smirks, and looks thoughtful.

"How many guesses do I have?"

Anonymous Person grins, then puts on his stern face. It wouldn't do for the grin to go through to his speech.

"Well, that depends entirely on how many you believe you'll need, doesn't it?"

[true_desire]

"So it does," Desire muses, reaching up with the hand not busy with a cigarette: It settles lightly on the 'mystery man's' arm.

"Definietly not Prince Harry."

[kabeleced]

He blinks.

"Who's Prince Harry?"

[true_desire]

"British fellow. Royalty," Desire offers. "A little after your time."

"Not Oedipus. I wouldn't want to marry your mother, either."

[kabeleced]

Shifty-like: "Well, perhaps he was before my time and screwed up so terribly we don't speak of him anymore. After King John signed the Magna Carta no English kings were named John, so."

Beat.

"Mothers generally are not that attractive. I imagine Jocasta was, though."

[true_desire]

"I might be able to think of another," comes the playful jibe. "We won't speak of her, however, since her husband might be around."

"And I think it's safe to say you are not a pirate -- unless you've taken up adventure on the high seas while I wasn't watching."

[kabeleced]

"Oh, I might well be a pirate. You never know." Beat. "Mate."

He doesn't think he's being quite mysterious enough. Tragedy. (Or not, really.)
