Desire appears in the bar.
There's no real reason: Desire doesn't appear to be looking for anyone in particular, nor plotting anything more wicked than lighting a cigarette and ordering a drink.
Perhaps the Endless is merely bored.

"Bien, merci." Desire puts an arm about Meg's shoulders, giving the ballerina a small hug. "And what have you been up to?"

*Meg grins and leans against his shoulder.* Well, I fell in the river yesterday . . .

"And how did you manage that, petite?"

I wasn't looking where I was going, *Meg says sheepishly.*

"...And you managed to missed the Seine sneaking up on you? Tch."

"Something you want to talk about, petite?"

I was . . . distracted.

*Meg twirls a curl around her finger, and frowns.*
