Kaylee walks into the bar, looking around for Faith. She'd tried to show up this morning, but there was too much to do back on ship. It was hard sometimes to remember responsibilities when there was so much to do here at the bar. But Serenity came first. Even over Earth-that-was.

Grins. "I'm Romanadvoratrelundar but Romana or Fred suits me just fine. Kaylee's a good name. Very memorable."

"I'd say yours is purty memorable...not too easy t'remember though. I think I'll call ya Fred."

She grins brightly back. Definitely seems like a nice person.

"Oh I know. I've had troubles remembering it myself." Winks. "Really? You'll call me Fred? Ah but I do love this place."

Romana has never been called Fred or ma'am so often. It's refreshing.

"Where are you from?"

"Transport ship, Firefly class Serenity." She replies proudly. "You?"

"I'm a Time Lord from Gallifrey. I have ship too though it's a bit different. It's called a TARDIS."

"I don't know what a Time Lord is. Or what Gallifrey is. So I'm guessin' yer from a diff'rnt world from me. What's yer ship like?"

As if she's reciting from a plaque. Which is only because she's said it so often. "Time Lords travel through space and time. We have two hearts and can regenerate."

"My ship is...well...it's huge. Endless space. And a very tidy control room. You're welcome to see it sometime."

Is thinking about throwing a party one of these days.

"That'd be shiny."

Kaylee loves ships. She'll never love another as much as she does Serenity though.

"Two hearts? Are you human?"

Romana chuckles. "I can show you the manuals too. I have...well...one for all the types. I have most of them memorized."

Which Kaylee might actually find interesting. Romana usually doesn't tell people about her fascination with TARDIS manuals.

"Hm. Similiar to but not quite. Similar enough that Earth is my favorite place to visit."

"I wanna go see Earth. Faith is gonna take us. Where I'm from there ain't no Erath left."

Romana frowns. No Earth left. That's going to be a very sad day for her indeed.

"You poor dear. Well, if you like, I could take you there as well. At some point."

Romana likes having travelling companions.

"I'd like that. But I ain't always got lotsa time. I gotta job to do back on my girl so that comes first."

But she's glad for the offer and the thankful look on her face shows that.

"Understandable and very commendable." Romana is always pleased to meet someone who takes what they do seriously.

"Although the nice thing about traveling through time is you can always move backwards and return to exact point in time when you left."

"Sounds a little complicated to me."

River definitely wouldn't buy that. But speaking of responsibility and such...

"I gotta go get back to Serenity now. But it was nice ta meetya Fred!"

"Fairly complicated."

She waves. "Nice to meet you too, Kaylee."
