Having heard that Thursday nights were occasionally more interesting than other times of the week, Hal steps through the front door of Milliways for a second time today. Wisely, he left the Green Lantern uniform at home, going with jeans, a t-shirt and his jacket instead.
"Bar. Beer. Make it a Guinness, so dark that I won't know if you've dyed it festively green."
Stout in hand, Hal turns and leans back against the Bar, watching the crowd. After a day on patrol, he should relax like this more often.

"Why would your Guinness be green?"

"Oh," he sputters, noticing the lovely lady.
"Well, Miss ... My beer might've been green because it is sadly customary where I'm from to tint a customer's brew on Saint Patrick's Day. Now, it should be noted that this doesn't happen on any other holiday. No red beer on Valentines, no orange be on Hallowe'en.
"But I'm sorry to rant. Hello. My name is Hal."

"Ah I see. Strange. Does it make the beer taste any better?"
"No need to apologize. This holiday is particularly stupid although green and Ireland are both lovely. It's nice to meet you, Hal."
