Val walks up to the bar, putting two letters on Bar's surface, as always written in green ink. She looks just a bit harried, and more than a little worried. "Bar, can you duplicate this one and give it to Bernard and Bigby, and give this one to my brother Peter? Thanks." The letters are absorbed into the bar, and Val shuffles back to her room in the House of Arch, more than a little disjointedly.

Bernard and Bigby,
Last night Alanna of Trebond, a member of Secuirty and one of my best friends, was kidnapped by a pirate, I believe answering to the name Jack Sparrow. I am not certain where he took her, as I was not able to look out the door before it was shut. I wanted to make you aware of this, so action can perhaps somehow be taken. If you have any problems or questions, you know where to find me.

Don't believe I've met this Jack Sparrow. Do we know what world he is from? Is there anyone we know of who is also from his world?

*When passing through the bar, Bigby is presented by Val's note. He moves to picked it up.

Reading it, his expression might be best accurately described as 'stormy'. The poor inoffensive letter gets crumbled into a ball rather violently.

He adds speaking to Val and finding what happened to Alanna to his mental 'to do' list.*

No what? You're not taking over the world, you don't care about Alanna, you're not getting her back? Force, can you please for once in your life be lucid? Someone's in danger here, someone I thought you cared about.

Once again, you don't get anything. And this is a waste of my time.

How the hell am I supposed to get something if I only get one word? I'm an empath, not a telepath. And what, oh great one is your time better suited doing? You're sure as hell not finding her if you're writing letters to me.

So stop wasting my time with them.
