(no subject)

[oom: Iris takes it upon herself to begin a record of her stay through "letters" to her father.]

After trying to sleep on a table, in a booth, on the floor and on a chair next to the fireplace, Iris comes to one conclusion.

"This hoovers."

She slinks back to a table If a speedster could slink. and promptly buries her head in her hands. What follows is silent begging for something to render her unconscious so she doesn't have to worry about finding a room and paying for it. If there are rooms. If she has money.

She bangs her head on the table and then rubs her temples.

Yeah. This hoovers. Majorly.

[ooc: It will suck less if she had something to talk to though. *whistles innocently and trudges off to work not that this will prevent commenting*]

"I've been through both," Hal muses.

"I'm guessing you met your exponentially-great grandfather, Barry. He's a good guy, you know. Of all of your ancestors in this Bar, he's probably the one worth getting to really know ... with the exception of your proto-father, of course.

"And about me ... the God thing, you mentioned ... I am aware of the consequences from some of my past actions in the reality I know, and that a lot of harm came of it. If something similar happen'd in yours, though it wasn't me exactly, I can only apologize for whatever my namesake did."

Hal looks into his coffee, thinking.

"So ... since you're here for the moment, what are you going to do with this time you've been given?"
