Sawyer has finally realized what an idiot he's been coming down in the evenings to eat. It's much less busy during the day; much fewer people present to mock his current wardrobe situation.

So, the amount of Sawyer's in the bar has just increased by one.

"Then why bring it up?"

"Just trying to illustrate a point, sweetcheeks. About how you might not want to trust that sweet impression of Meg."

She raises an eyebrow. "Sweetcheeks?" She shakes her head in annoyance. "How come I should believe your opinion on Meg?"

Sawyer shrugs. "Hey, believe whatever you want. I just thought I'd try and do you a favor."

"Thanks," Jaina responds dryly.

"Hey, no problem, sweetness. Just being a good neighbor." He holds out a hand. "I'm Sawyer, by the way."

Jaina shakes it, her eyes narrowing slightly at the 'sweetness' comment. "My name's Jaina Solo."

Sawyer snickers. "What, like as in 'Han Solo'?"

"Dad's never mentioned you."

What the hell?

"Oh... uh, we haven't met. Let's just say I've heard of him."

"Well, that would explain it then, wouldn't it. Which planet are you from?"

"Earth." He says this like it should be the most obvious fact ever.

Jaina blinks in confusion. "And you know who Dad is?"

For once, Sawyer thinks before he speaks. Telling a girl that her dad is a fictional character where he comes from is probably a sure way to break her brain. So...

"I've heard stories."

"Earth's not a part of the GFFA," Jaina states. "How have you heard stories?"

Lie, Sawyer! Lie!

"I've been living in the bar for over a month now. People come, and they talk."

"What have they said?"

"Something about making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. Whatever the hell that means."

"That's Dad's old claim to fame," she replied, deciding not to waste her time explaining parsecs to the obviously confused man.

Sawyer nods. "What about you, sweetheart? What's your claim to fame?"

"I've flown with Rogue Squadron. I'm a Jedi Knight and a lieutenant colonel in the GFFA military,"

Jaina's eyes narrowed. "What about you?"

"No claim to fame here, honey. Well, except for being stupid enough to get baited into wearing a tutu."

He stretches leisurely. "Nope, I'm as regular as they come."
