Sawyer has finally realized what an idiot he's been coming down in the evenings to eat. It's much less busy during the day; much fewer people present to mock his current wardrobe situation.

So, the amount of Sawyer's in the bar has just increased by one.

Sawyer grins. "Sweetheart, I'd look sexy in anything, but that's beside the point."

"How're things going for you?"

"True, true." She smirks.
"Things are going alright. Even more of my co-workers are here. Its really quite lovely." Hint of sarcasm? Noooo, of course not.

"And with you?"

"Kind of have the same thing going on; more and more people from the island showing up."

He smirks. "So far, the really annoying ones haven't popped in, though. Unless, of course, you count me. Which I don't."

Chloe snorts.
"My co-workers would probably say I'm the annoying one. In fact, they have. Its a pretty consistent theme with them. But yeah, they don't get it. Its not annoying behavior if what you're saying is right. Am I right?"

"Sweetheart, so far you haven't tried to dress me up in women's clothing, physically assaulted me, or attempted to have gay sex with me. From where I'm standing, you're one of the least annoying people here as far as I'm concerned."

"And you're not so bad for a scruffy- wait, WHAT? Gay sex?"

"Yep. I've had two guys today alone CHANGE THEIR GENDER and start screwing with me." Sawyer shakes his head.

Chloe gives Sawyer one of those o___0 looks.

"Were they hitting on you because they wanted to, or was it purely because they wanted to torture you? Because if they just wanted to torture you, that's just wrong. On so many different levels. And I don't even want to get into the 'how in hell did they gender-bend' aspect."

"Around this place, who knows what their intent was? Probably just wanted to torture but wouldn't turn down a little slice of Sawyer if it turned out I was down for it."

"Yeah."

Still a little off-put by that, Chloe's brain slips a little. That answer could mean anything, from an affirmation to the first part, to an understanding of the second.

Sawyer tugs a little at the tutu disgustedly. "Just three more days and I can get rid of this damn thing."

He looks over at her. "Something wrong, sunshine?"

"Oh, no, nothing. Just, you know, a little off put by the amount of odd people here in the Bar. But, I'm getting used to it. And they aren't really odd, just not what I'm used to."

Chloe smiles. "Have any plans for a send off? My sister's husband burned the dress he had to wear after that SuperBowl bet he lost."

"No, they really are odd. The ballerina responsible for this? Yeah, she was engaged to the apparently-teenaged girl who is now engaged to her father/mother/whatever. Oh, and she's Death's niece, apparently. Calling that 'odd' is generous."

He tugs at the tutu again. "As for this, yeah, it's getting torched. Hell, if I could, I'd torch Meg along with it."

Again: o___0
"Yes. That... is odd."

Chloe reaches out and touches the frills. "This has to be the ugliest tutu I've ever seen. ANd I was a ballerina for many a Halloween."

"Really? That's something I'd pay to see."

Sawyer stands. "I think I need to go get some shut-eye. Maybe next time you see me, I won't be so... pink."

"Heh, sure! Good Night!"
