Uh oh. Guess who's still here? And she's just as cheerful as ever. ~~Perhaps even more so since her mun has once again discovered the restorative properties of mocha.~~

There's an Ace, at the bar. She's still got the sodabread and cocoa thing going. Romana should know oddness is an unfortunate side effect of companioning. Or maybe it's just Ace. That's a very real option here.

Romana is glad Ace is being odd as it indicates she is on the road to recovery. Or so she assumes.

She wanders over. "Good afternoon."

"Oh! Hello." Ace grins. "Grab a seat. You want some sodabread? It's quite good." For someone who spent half the night staring at the fire, she's pretty darn perky.

Romana does indeed grab a chair.

"Sodabread sounds delightful. May I ask why you're dipping it in your cocoa?"

"Because it's good?" Ace really doesn't need any more reason than that. "Discovered it last night while talking to Wash. Got him to try it too." There's a smug grin there, somewhere.

"Oh. Well in that case maybe I'll give it a try." She munches on some sodabread before getting some cocoa from the Bar.

"Who's Wash?" she asks as she dips a small piece in her drink.

"He's a pilot from this ship called the Serenity." Ace beams. Yet another person convereted to cocoa and sodabread-ism. "He's pretty ace. He wears Hawiian shirts all the time, and loves dinosaurs. He also speaks Chinese, and has threatened to teach me."

"The very same ship as Kaylee? Well then he must be a lovely person."

Romana beams back because sodabread and cocoa is surprisingly good.

Hawaiian shirts and dinosaurs? Brilliant.

Smiles. "That's kind of him to threaten. Chinese can be very useful in a pinch. You must introduce me to him some time."

And Romana will have to introduce him to Ray if they haven't met already. They'd probably get along swimmingly.

Ace shrugs.
"Haven't met the rest of his crewmates, 'cept Zoe, his wife. And I'll be glad to introduce you. Bring fresh fruit, the man's addicted." She snickers.
Meanwhile, the mun is shrieking in terror at the thought of Ace and Ray talking.

"Fresh fruit" She grins. "Easy enough."

~~This mun is concerned about the possibilities but also happy because Romana's sort-of dating Ray.~~

"Yup. He's a pushover." She beams, partly because it's fun having a friend who's influenced by blueberries, and partly because of what he said last night.

Romana chuckles. "Good to know."
